This is an additional risk factor. Very significant.
If you decide to do this, then you need to be very aware of what you get involved in, and your baseline data.
So if you have problems with anything listed above, the advice not to tempt fate is not bad at all.
Yes, someone is lucky. The problem is that not everyone is lucky.
When my girlfriend was pregnant, several times she did this with our dog. =)
For periods of up to 5 months. With a well-known dog. We had a lot of analysis data. Well, in principle, there was an understanding of what we are doing. And still this is a risk! And a certain stupidity. Yes, with a favorable set of circumstances, everything will be fine. The question is who guarantees this. There are too many variables in this equation. And the price of the error can be significant. Think a few times if you need it if such an idea still visits you.

IMO being only in her first trimester, she should be ok to continue to enjoy herself. It would be nice if an actual MD were on here to give actual medical advise. I assume she can’t ask her own on/gym, I know I wouldn’t. Again, IMO I think she’s safe at least until she enters her third trimester at which time maybe she should back off until after she delivers. Intense pressure on the cervix can induce labor.

Would you happen to know what Ph level it takes to break the mucus plug? I've seen plenty of videos of pregnant women (well into 6-8 months judging by appearance) having sex with their dogs (and yes, he did cum in her) and we haven't heard of any crazy stories of premature birth due to dog sex. TBH I'd say it's perfectly fine, and that's not to mention the OP already stated that his wife has been having sex with the dog this whole time and their child came out fine.

You can call it what you will. But if anyone had the slightest concern for there unborn child they would look into it. It’s not if it happens but when. What do you tell your doctor when you go into early labor when you show up? I hope you got a laundry list of things to say because premature labor is something that’s looked into very deeply. Sure you want that swab if they decide to run tests?

That statement was asked years ago on a thread on beast forum before if you can find it. You can also look it up yourself and compare. But clearly the possibility of issues doesn’t concern you all that much. Must be easier when it’s not your kid though.

Did you know that in many species (all canids) a pregnant female will cause a dramatic drop in the testosterone of the male mated to her?

Did you know that in many species (all equids, most cats) a male taking over a harem will forcefully rape any pregnant females specifically to cause an abortion so he can replace the offspring with his own?

I wonder why these things are so? (and well documented)

As far as "from behind" goes, all that tells me is that you know nothing about sex with dogs. I have a lot of experience. Missionary gives you more control. Doggy is his preferred position because once he has a firm grasp on your hips, he can slam it in and there's not much you can do about it.

Here's a real crazy idea: If you're pregnant, why can't you just WAIT until your baby is born, as you might do regarding other things you wouldn't do during pregnancy?
Anyone lacking the tiny bit of self-control that requires, has no business being a mother.

No different to having regular intercourse with a man I believe. Just keep an eye out for anything not feeling right
But probably don’t go taking a full length stallion up the guts 8 months pregnant ;)

I believe there is no problem, since you were active with dogs before becoming pregnant, nothing was found in your exams and now that you are pregnant, the exams are fine, I believe there is no problem.
