Urine has been used to tan hides for thousands of years. It can be a cleaning agent, a dye extractive, a dye mordant and a whitener for wool. It is a disinfective, based on the ammonia present in it. As a preventive for athletes foot, it may work, but given its use as a tannage material, Id be leery of using it outside a shower, undiluted. Regarding co-ed showers, I think those details are not for public consumption (at least mine are not).

I started this as simple question but from some of the answer I have become very curious now about water sports, I have always thought I was kinky but never thought of golden showers as anything real people were into.
