Cool. If you know something about programming you can easily use python's cryptography.fernet library and create a safe folder with everything encrypted. Also I recommend making a LUKS encrypted partition on your disk for your stuff. Just remember the password!
Edit: The "." + <folder name> trick can save you if you are the one using the computer, otherwise, you would be a little fucked if someone hit Ctrl + H. I guess you already know that.

Or just use eCryptfs if you need only a directory for porn on one encrypted filesystem.
I do not store any porn offline anymore. And I use Tails.
Now I feel dumb. An entire week trying to do the program for encryption(not for porn tbh I just wanted to try) and now I realized I lost a week of my time. Thanks, Internet
Tails? Looks too privacy-focused for me, I don't really have any important data on my PC nor anything 'Illegal' (Besides from hacked games). Sometimes I get too curious and delete/change stuff I really shouldn't and break the entire OS so I try to keep the little important stuff I have on pen-drives or online.

Well, when I was a teen I had a terrible time at getting away with ANYthing. And it's not that I had overbearing parents. I just sucked at being discreet.
My parents weren't fans of computers or the Internet in general, and smart phones weren't that common. So, I was only ever able to explore my interest in zoo on computers at other people's houses, relatives houses for the most part.
Like I said I had little experience with computers. All I knew was that I could type something in the search bar and Google would give me a list of results.
Im probably responsible for the death of 3 or 4 computers tbh. And yes, each time my relatives would go through the search history to figure out what happened to their computer.
It became a running joke in my family. I'd visit someone during the holidays and they'd eventually embarrass me about it. We'd be having a conversation about something cool and interesting someone would say something like, "Hey I can pull that up on the Internet and we can all see that epic volcano eruption." Then he'd say, "oh wait," as he turn and looked at me. Then I'd hear an obnoxious "nevermind!" Followed by laughter from whoever was in the room.
