If they're friends then there is some level of relationship there.
If a guy meets a girl at the bar and takes her back to his place to fuck... he has no clue about her and has no reason to believe she's not a fucking psycho bitch. It's one of the primal forces that drive animals and we actually require the chemicals sex releases in a semi regular basis or we start getting chemical imbalances and emotional flaws.... By your logic having shelter is a want not a need, not having a roof over your head isn't going to kill you... Having friends and family is a want not a need, electricity is a want not a need... That logic doesn't apply I'm sorry, you may still live but it wouldn't be ahealthy life and may not be one worth living

Shelter is protection from the elements... so that's a need. You can die depending on the weather so that's not the same as sex. You wont die from not fucking a pussy. Family is quite literally a need or you wouldn't have been born... and you wouldn't have survived childhood. As an adult its not a need, but its a good thing to have and definitely a want. I'd agree on electricity, there are millions of tribal people around the world that life without it. It makes life better but its not need... those people feel that life is perfectly worth living without electricity.
Anything that's at the base of Maslow's Hierarchy is a need. The rest you can survive without. You might not enjoy life, but you will survive.
As for the neurochemical issues, you can get the same neurochemical releases other ways than sex. The body has many other ways of triggering the release of endorphins and oxytocin.

I'm here to talk and discuss this zoo lifestyle. I've suffered in ways in my life, and I've been blessed in ways in my life. I've never once in this thread made a claim about how hard I've had it. But what I have done is point out that the things you say are 'needs' aren't because there are other people who life without them perfectly fine.

How exactly am I'm disgusting because I point out that tribes in Namibia and Nunavut, Siberia, and Mongolia, etc live without electricity and have happy and fulfilling lives?

You made a comment about how poor people couldnt afford those things.
I explained that poor people get those things for free.
You change the subject to talk about the stress of life living in Section 8. That's an entirely different issue.

But if you want to change the topic to stress... there were other plenty of stresses in the past as well. Do you think women in the past were stressed knowing that every single childbirth could result in them dying? While that death during childbirth can still happen today its exceedingly rare these days. Yea there's a lot of crime in areas with section 8 housing... but its not like crime didn't exist in the past. Stats show we're living in one of the least violent times in history.
I'm not saying life is perfect now, but life is demonstrably better than it once was in many ways.
Food stamps suck, but you'll survive with them. A few hundred years ago... you'd just have starved to death.
