Whiles it's not directly sexual, I've heard few other songs about love for one's canine companion.
It's about Robert Plant's dog Strider, named after Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings and the blue-eyed merle described in the lyrics.

just wanted to mention that.

the song is by Die Ärzte and has a couple of follow up songs. Like Claudia two and three. I think Claudia three was Claudia has gotten a horse.
