Kinda shows just how absolutely desperate some men are for anything that remotely smells like female on here. But it's users that think with the head in their pants which shows just how easy it is to catfish and scam, which is why the fakes keep doing it. The desperate want to believe it, even if it's too good to be true.

I don't think it's only men, but also women who want to appear more beautiful, and unfortunately it's not possible to find all the fakes, there are programs that can tell you certain features of the suspicious photos but if you can't find them on the internet it's impossible to tell that someone is a fake, I always check but I know very well that many fakes I can't detect them, without considering the haters who copy a photo and with some photo editing programs they point you out as a fake, really complicated

It's sadly still impossible to 100% identify fakes. The "to good to be true" is one of the biggest red flags. My colleague was trying to buy a supposedly brand new I phone 13 for 300€ of eBay. He even already send the money via PayPal, and now the guy was obviously just wasting time until he could no longer withdraw the sended money. They where communicating via what's app. The package was supposedly sent, but the tracking did not work, than the package macicaly got lost in the mail for a few days, than returned to the sender, than they set a time and date for a meet up, but he canceled it 4 hours bevore. Also the guy was very slow to answere, Constantly making up excuses why he could not talk right now and so on.
For me it was obvious that this was a scam, but my colleague was so tunnel visioned on this "to good to be true" deal that he did not saw all these red flags popping up left and right.long storry short, I got him to withdraw the money, but it took me almost two weaks to convince him, that the I phone never was there in the first place, and that the dude was scamming him.
Now imagine something similar, but the man thinking with his dick... These fakes don't even need to be convincing, cause thirstyman believe litheraly anything, as long as there is the sligthest hint of pussy.

Is it possible for fake users to simply be banned based on IP address? Would make it easier to prevent the same person creating a new account after being banned. Also, what recourse is there if someone thinks they are banned unfairly or by mistake? Are users given a warning before being banned?

No, IPs aren't static, especially when connecting through a VPN, which most people here do, those trying to con people even more so than others.
The only people we outright ban immediately are sadist, pedos and people who claim stolen pics, which is what the majority of fake, scammers or catfishers, do on our website. There will be fake people, it is up to each and everyone of us to weed them out by not thinking with your penis or vag.
As for those that think they where banned unjustly, the solution lies in the rules, which should have been read by everyone.

One of the biggest complaints we see is that people don't talk, I have even received some of these garbage messages, because of how people act and present themselves.
