Right wing liberal. Maximum freedom as long as you dont infringe on another's freedom by doing it. Basically a libertarian with roads.

Political parties are a sham. They all serve the same master. I believe that there is a small ruling elite that control everything globally and they are the ones who really call the shots. World leaders are puppets and things like nation states are a rouse designed to trick everyone into what is really going on.

In over 20 years of beast forums I have never seen politics brought up/discussed. It was always known that due to the nature of sexual interests-people were a mixed bag globally. This must be a sign of present day USA and how polarized media has the country. Everything has to be defined according to a party. Its quite odd to see it manifest in places.

I don't subscribe to any political affiliation 100%. I don't really care for the "team" aspect of politics, which takes away from taking the good ideas and leaving the bad to create a truly progressive society based on democracy and benevolence.

Registered Democrat, but disillusioned with the party itself. Would be Libertarian if they weren't such a toxic group of people.
Ironically that's why I went from Libertarian right to Libertarian left. But the democratic-left is awful (see current "administration") and the right, well, you know...

I'm just sticking with my own thing right now. I don't know if it's considered independent or not, but whatever.

I'm surprised to see the numbers relatively equal. I don't know which I thought would be more though. Doesn't matter who you wanna vote for; an animal cock is still a great cock and an animal pussy is still a great pussy.

Anarchist/libertarian type of thing here. Really, I believe what I believe, and I don't give two hot fucks where that puts me in terms of identity politics. In fact, identity politics are a fool's game, and are the #1 reason western society is in the mess it's currently in, and only getting worse at an alarming rate. It would seem humankind is on the short course toward learning a painful historical lesson we should've already fucken learned from already, many times over.

Caveat: When I say "anarchist", I mean that I'm a celebratory anarchist; I understand and accept the truth that a purely anarchic society cannot exist, the least of all post-Industrial Revolution... Maybe in a small communal setting, most definitely in a very small local circle, but never in an actual governmental role... This is why I typically refer to myself as anarchist/libertarian, because I still believe that anarchic principles of "fuck the state" are to be celebrated, I still believe that government is evil, I still believe in No Heckin' Masters and fuck you I won't do what you tell me... But this is not currently the truth. Maybe some day, humankind will finally have intellectually evolved to see the truth that government is an archaic idea, but today is not that day.

Communism on paper seems like a utopia. just like socialisim. It works on a small scale when you have at most a few hundred people living in a commune voluntarily. When you try to expand that out to millions of individuals. Well, not every one is going to accept it because humans are not ants in a colony. So then how do you force some one to accepted it?.... why with force of course. The fallacies of communism as a functional mass government is in that it assumes that every one is ok giving up their personal freedoms for the greater good. The greater good on the whole translates to the good of the ruling elite and anything that goes against the ruling elite must be purged. Enter Mao Zedong or Stalin men who killed 100s of millions of people trying to force people to accept communism. Right now china is about to eat Hong Kong because they refuse to accept communism. While it might not be the goal of communisim it has always ended the same because humans are not selfless enough to implement it properly.

Anarchy is as equal to failure as Socialism and Communism because again with out rules and laws, human beings show the worst of them selves. While there really isn't an example of a functional anarchist govern't you only have to look to places like Mogedishu and really any Sub sharian African country, places where they are nearly lawless. Where they throw transsexuals off the tops of buildings and witch doctors skin virgins alive and eat them because it cures AIDS.... Remove the rules, have no repercussions to do bad things and humans become far worse than animals. At least when animals kill you or takes your meal its nothing personal. Again, I am sure it can work on a small scale but it fails miserably on a larger country sized scale.

why I am staunchly against communisim and socialisim not the idea but the way it must be practiced and enforced. Because I am a wild lover of freedom and space. I spent many years being forced to live a certain way under some one elses rules. In the tradtional sense yeah they are a beautiful concept and if people want to live like that on their own then more power to them. My gripes stems from the fact that I am extremely well off. I don't want to put a number on it but with all the current presidential candidates suddenly swinging hard left socialist(or at least their form of it anyway) it has put my way of life very much at risk and the way I see it I don't owe any body any portion of my land or money. Certainly not 60-70% of it.
Absolutely, unequivocally, unabashedly, ^ this.

I love the ideas of communism on its surface level; to ensure the people are taken care of first and foremost, to ensure the people have the power, to try and mitigate as much suffering as possible. These are all tenets everyone can get behind...

But it's not the truth.

The truth of the matter is that communist and socialist states almost exclusively devolve into brutal authoritarian hellscapes of censorship, terrorism, genocide, oppression, despotism, and all the other bad things governments are capable of. The biggest problem is that communism and socialism are a fantasy world that can never be realized because it relies too heavily on rhetoric and devotion in place of common sense and logic, and it ends up spawning statist notions of "only the State is correct", "only the State is qualified to rule", "only the State should have authority"... These in turn devolve to the aforementioned devotion to the ideal, the ruling class preaching the ideal, the party representing the ideal, the chairman, the dictator... And we all know that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. (Yet more reason for term limits on EVERY elected AND appointed position, and reason for anti-corruption laws such as the banning of lobbyism). It's quite interesting that the political system purportedly devoted to the greater good almost ALWAYS turns into "the Party is the one true god, and should be hailed, preserved, and spread, to murderous ends if need be"....

Now, a capitalistic society has its pitfalls as well; there will forever be those trying to game the system, trying to exploit others, trying to ensure their own profit margins are as wide as possible, despite the suffering of everyone else. BUT, a free-market capitalistic society is the best system we've so far concocted; at its core, free-market supply-side economics focuses on the free and consentual exchange of goods and services for money or an equivalent agreed-upon valuation... This should be the very basis of economics in anyone's common sense gland! If Joe builds a widget that makes Rita's life easier, then Joe and Rita can come together and agree that Rita should have one. HOWEVER, Joe put time and effort and money into developing and building and bringing to market, that widget, and thus is entitled to compensation for those efforts. As the creator of this widget, Joe should be the one to decide what his time and effort is worth.... If the State comes and robs Joe of all his widgets so that they can be distributed to all the Rita's, that is evil. That is victimizing Joe, no matter how much "common good" it serves. "One life for many" is a horrible concept, especially when applied in politics and economics where the particular choice is never necessary. This is another of the biggest failures of communist/socialist systems.

The truth, the solution, the enlightenment, lies in individual liberty, in decentralization, in the actual "power to the people" idea that ALL should be born free, ALL should be born without obligation, that every last motherfucker born of this earth should have a shot at a Free life, should have the power to choose how it is lived. The State should not be the supreme authority of everything; in fact, the State should fuck off out of most things, and let the people decide. The State should be as small as possible, only concerning itself with ONLY the legitimate and necessary roles of government. The hierarchy of authority (in the case of the USA, at least) is completely flipped upside-down right now...

And the most bitter lie ever told, the idea that taxation creates equality, is ridiculous at best, no matter how it is divvied up. Taxation only feeds the ever-growing, insatiable monster that is government, and we all know that the State is absolutely evil. This is why we see our own system in many western nations completely FAIL at providing, whilst taking in obscene amounts of funding for such. This is why we see private sectors vastly outperform publicly funded options. And the absolute WORST is the example of the USA, providing trillions of dollars to take care of all the rest of the world's problems, whilst completely and dismally failing to even acknowledge its own. You cannot save a person from drowning if you yourself are drowning..... Though, funnily enough, the bulk of US taxation income is laundered back out to special interests, big business buddies, and the politicians' own pockets. So not only are we not helping the drowning person, we're taking the life preserver and putting it on Senator Joe's luxury yacht.

Ah, but I digress. I've ranted too much already, and nobody actually wants to hear any of my political opinions.... No doubt the FBI, CIA, NSA, FSB, Chinese intelligence, et. al. working this website are logging tf out of this thread, and I'll be seeing this reply later before they stuff me in a hole... :)

For me, it boils down to a simple question. Which party has my best interests at heart? Because only sheep vote for their own butchers. I am a Zoo, a hedonist, a nudist, I am bi, a promiscuous slut, and I love porn. Above of all this, I believe in the equality of all humans, and their right to pursue their own happiness and sexuality. And I believe that animals should be treated fairly. I see organized religion as what it is: a concept to fleece the sheep and to keep them in check by telling them their unbearable status quo is an imaginary God's will. I also lived and worked in countries with universal health care and know for a fact that the American anti-"socialist" health care stanza is based on the lie that our health care system is somehow better than Canada's Switzerland's, Germany's, and Sweden's. It is not!

Why would I vote for any party that promotes Biblical "values", denies women the right to their own bodies, and tries to police our bedrooms by passing anti zoo, anti-gay and anti porn legislation? Why would I vote for a party that promotes AG gag laws, and criminalizes animal rights activists trying to help animals, held in squalid conditions? I also would like to leave a half-way decent environment for my children to live in. Why would I vote for a party that denies science, promotes fossil fuels, and denies global warming, when I see the fall out of gobal warming with my own eyes?

I am also not exactly rich, so why would I vote for a party that believes corporations are people, and whose tax laws benefit only the upper 3% of the electorate, on top of denying health care to half of the population, so pharmaceutical and medical companies can keep raking in Trillions in profits every year?

The unfortunate truth is that it's neither; neither party gives a fuck about the people of this country, as expertly demonstrated by their political lies and dastardly actions. Both parties are vying for the power and dominance of their own party so they can make the country lucrative for their own selves and their friends. Both parties are friends of Wall Street. Both parties will claim to be all for the things you're all for, but when it comes down to the vote, all they care about is their own power and wealth.

If anything, the libertarians are the last few who actually give a shit, and I've no clue how libertarianism isn't the dominant party in the US, aside from the fact that it is consistently throttled by the "free" press, in order to promote the ridiculous us-vs-them bullshit that keeps the faux-duopoly alive and marching toward bedlam... Because, of course, every subsequent election in this country is "the most important one in the history of our nation"....

Are you single? :O

In all seriousness, tho, Scientism is replacing religion as the "immutable word", and it couldn't have been more on display than with the past two years... Whatever the State said was correct, even after contradicting itself over and over and over again, and anything else was brutally suppressed as if Mark Zuckerberg were the new head of the world Stasi... It's actually quite sickening, and just because focus has shifted to Ukraine doesn't mean it's gotten any better....

The unfortunate truth is that science is being hijacked for this very purpose, with people just as devoted to what "experts" say, just as they would've been their local bishops circa 1542.... Even peer review means little to nothing these days, as political control creeps into every aspect of western culture, with absolutely bogus studies being approved as "peer-reviewed" just because the politics were correct. We're seeing a truly dark time develop, as the post-enlightenment world is again darkened by the quest of tyrants to extinguish Liberty and intelligence...

I do not agree with a wholly state-funded, state-dictated, state-based healthcare system. Instead, I do believe there should be a public option for health insurance, one that costs little to nothing for those who cannot afford it, but still affords good care... I believe this is the best balance between the two warring sides; the free-market kiddies, and the daddy-government kiddies... But I do agree that the right wing's anti-socialism sentiments get in the way of the discussion.

A lot of this is far-left propaganda, and not the actual truth of right-wing beliefs... Sure, some of the right have some pretty ass-backward, primitive, douchey beliefs, but it's not the truth of the whole. Having been a former repub-supporter, I can tell you this is an extreme overexaggeration of the opposing side. Though, the other end of the spectrum is just as douchey, just as asinine, just as dumb, and the political right use it as overexaggeration as well....

As far as abortion, I have a really huge problem with the whole of the issue. In fact, it's a complete non-issue that has been exploded into an issue in order to further divide the people, and reinforce the faux-duopoly... I can solve this "issue" inside of two minutes, but nobody in the western world wants to hear it because they're too afraid of giving up their identity politics, too afraid of losing a major dividing issue... The fact of the matter is that it's NOT black-and-white, and only a fool would sit on either camp; the "free abortions for all" versus "ban all abortions" bullshit. Neither is the correct answer.

I also would like to leave a half-way decent environment for my children to live in. Why would I vote for a party that denies science, promotes fossil fuels, and denies global warming, when I see the fall out of gobal warming with my own eyes?
Environmentalism is yet another non-issue exploded into an issue for divisiveness. There is so much pseudoscience and political rhetoric on both sides that it's sickening to say the least... And the truth of the matter is that damn near 100% of people will agree that pollution, litter, destruction of natural lands, airs, waters, etc., pissing on our environment for fun and profit, is a very BAD thing.... BUT, the solution is not to give the EPA, the government, more power. Instead, the free market needs to choose the next technologies, society needs to choose the path they want to go down, NOT the government.

A perfect example is nuclear power. All too often, you'll find the greenie-weenies screaming "NO NUKES" and other nonsense they don't understand, while nuclear energy generation continues to be BY FAR the best option we as humankind have developed; it is far cleaner than any other generation method; it yields far more energy per input than even the largest hydroelectric, wind, or solar farms could ever dream of; and thusfar has been the safest, most environmentally friendly method since we first developed a need for mass energy. I could go into this far further, but this post is already nearing a doctorial thesis in length. If y'all want, pm me or something....

I am also not exactly rich, so why would I vote for a party that believes corporations are people, and whose tax laws benefit only the upper 3% of the electorate, on top of denying health care to half of the population, so pharmaceutical and medical companies can keep raking in Trillions in profits every year?
Yet more political confusion. Trump's tax cuts were actually quite beneficial to the economy as a whole, especially to the lower classes, and taxing the hell out of the rich is never a good idea; it always leads to tax evasion, money laundering, wealth exportation, budget slashing, etc., leaving the lower classes poorer, national taxation intake suffering, and the upper classes just a little bit less profitable. But, the truth of the matter, yet again, is that both major parties only care about their richest buddies; NOT about the people. This is why we're seeing everyone getting skinned alive this year on their taxes (that and those damned covid checks, child tax credits, and extra unemployment payments, that only ended up inflating the shit out of our garbage fiat currency)... As for Big Pharma, Fauci and Biden have been the best friends Pfizer, Moderna, GSK, Bayer, J&J, etc. have ever had... All of this "mandate the Jab," and "be sure to take the Pfizer(R) Pill(TM) every six months" dreck has only proven to provide record profits for these companies, as our government wastes trillions of our tax dollars buying this shit from these companies. It's criminal to say the least, and the lie that only Repubs care about making big business richer completely crumbles when critically examining this.

Meanwhile, libertarians preach about individual liberty, minimalist government, slashing of ALL taxation, personal wealth creation, sound fiscal policy, a broken-nose policy when it comes to MYOB issues, etc. etc. etc... Yet the NPC's of this world continue to parrot duopolistic nonsense, because this ideology is being so heavily suppressed in the controlled media. It's really quite unfortunate, as this ideology could do absolute wonders for our society....

But the power elite bent on destroying the nation and selling it to the Chinese Communist Party won't let that happen......

I mean, I'm a registered Democrat but that's only due to closed primaries, if they were open I'd register as independent... I feel most of us have views too individual to box ourselves within parties, especially when we're only given two options.

Being old enough to have seen 13 presidential elections, old enough to have voted in 9 of them, one side drives the price of gas more than double in less than four years, and the other side drops the price of fuel within days of them taking office.
I first lived this in 1976, fuel was .55 cents a gallon when Mr Carter took office, it was $2.50 cents a gallon when he left office in 1980.
In the year 1976, the United States minimum wage was $2.30.
So when the price of fuel goes up an additional 400%, you will understand what greatgrand parents endured.
Affiliations, lesser of two evils.
