I've seen many cases where the dog was clearly uncomfortable/hurting and the human didn't do anything about it. Clearly their anatomy is different and this is just asking for trouble. I appreciate that you asked them to go easy on me, I wish that I had taken more time to explore the different forums and read the various threads more carefully before posting. I had that happen to me once with a mastiff, who lost his footing and fell off onto the floor.
