Never got or heard of anyone getting but kew a veterinary surgeon who got brucellososis from cows..its is like a bad flu..very weakening and lasts for a long time..
 
Got a vaginal fungus about ten years ago my doc could not explain. Nothing else in my about 15 years of having sex with animals.

Vaginal fungus infection is a very common problem among women. Especially when using anticonception pills, because she will then have less of the normal flora of acid-producing bacteria in her vagina. Vaginal fungus is not dangerous at all, but itches and can give some vaginal discharge.
To sum it up. No reason to think it has to do with your ‘zoo-activity’.

I was talking about the common Candida Albicans. Can give a white, gritty discharge.
So your doc had cultivated it. I have no idea of fungus from dogs.

Animals and humans are genetical a bit different so what can make a human sick often dont work for animals or the other way around. I never get sick from a animal. ( i have not sex with them ) but they lick to you face place a lot of bakteria in you area and so on. Even if i kiss a horse or eat and drink stuff from a horse nothing is ever happend ( nothing bad good things are happen ) Humans they grow up with a lot of animals have better health as humans grow up with no animals around.

And.... Um. Have you heard of *any* cancer that is proved to be contagious (save for the canine TVT, which is not a cancer nor zoonotic for obvious reasons)

Not categorically *IMPOSSIBLE*, but very much not a significant thing except as a BS talking point for the antis.

Could possibly have some validity, assuming you go in soon enough after somebody with HPV and catch yourself a dose of that (which can then at least theoretically lead to at least a couple varieties of cancer - which typically don't appear in males, since they aren't equipped with the relevant parts) and pass it around among any lady-pals you might get it on with, in effect, giving THEM cancer.

Otherwise? Nah - just your basic urban legend.

Quit uncommon, But HPV can in fact give penis cancer. In my country HPV vaccinations is offered to girls and now beginning with boys too, well, as written is cancer seldom among males, but we can almost remove the virus from ‘circulation‘ by treating all teenagers.
 
I’m curious as I’ve messed around quite a bit with a German shepherd when I was younger but never caught anything. Has anyone actually caught any sort of disease from animals? Is there a way to stay safe? Thanks for the help.
 
It has been discussed in the past. It can happen, mostly bacterial infections, especially from stray animals. But unprotected sex with humans still seem to be riskier.

True enough, though one needs to keep in mind that *ANYTHING* non-sterile could be a vector for some bug or other if it gets put in a warm, wet place like a vagina or urinary tract (and even an anus, though that "zone" is usually a bit more "resistant" by nature). When one thinks of zoonotic issues in connection with "I fuck my <dog/horse/cat/three-toed sloth/sperm whale/wallaby/whatever>", the PRIMARY (though granted, not exclusive) concern is "something the critter has that it can pass along to you", as opposed to "contaminated object got inside somehow".

Generally speaking, anything that you can catch from your critter by putting your pecker in him/her (or vice-versa) can be caught just as easily by being in the same room with it, petting it, scratching it, brushing/grooming it, feeding it a treat, letting it lick your nose, cleaning up after it, or any other form of contact that doesn't involve "pole into hole". There MAY be some specific exceptions, but if there are, I can't name them.
