Short haired breeds are better, but I would let that slide for a Golden Retriever, Saint Bernard, Husky or a German Sheppard!

The wife is scared of dogs, but gets turned on from watching K9 porn. Some people are just wired that way, where certain personal aversion actually turns them on in the bedroom. I knew from the start she had that with old men for example. It took about 20 years into the marriage to discover it goes much much further than that.

I hope to one day experience a lot of breeds (not soon) but I've been with 1 black lab and 2 german shepards and both are great in their own way. Weimerauner, belgian malinois, and boxer are all on my would like to try list
