I'll just do what good law-non-abiding citizen do and "recycle" a functional pump from some abandoned industry complex. ?‍
Nobody cares for those, they degrade over time and get scrapped in 20 years. Maybe, with luck. And I love to preserve things in working state.

I recycle them.

At least I'm not traveling to other dimensions st.. .. I mean "recycling" stuff for my own experiments.. yet. My flux capacitor broke down, unfortunately.

Seriously tho: Those complex industrial places are not maintained since 5 to 20 years. And there are no buyers to be found. As such cities and regions let them rot down. And I just have a good eye to find such places.

Most risk comes out of breaking down structures. But some components of the machines are in quite well shape due to being either stainless or titanium grade. Or well-fire tinned steel. As such.. always welcome to the fox's laboratories.

But those are hard to find.
