Sadly, outskirts with a lot of land are much more expensive than equally large land on the country side.

Yep unfortunately so true ?. Is entirely possible that I could make enough in my career field to just throw money at it and make it work.

But yeah I don't absolutely hate the city there are parts of it I do like. So maybe just compromise and live near the city and save up to retire in bum fuck nowhere
