Well that's no good, considering the variance for a healthy temperature is +/-0.5 degrees.Ah well, I guess I missed all the fun. It took me awhile to find an in ear thermometer, as most the reviews stated that like 70% of them that came up in search were inaccurate, sometimes being off by a whole 1 to 2 degrees.
Yeah, the normal body temperature for dogs is 101.0 to 102.5°F, so even a difference of 1 degree could mean the difference between normal and feverish. But I managed to find one that was both 1) a reasonable price, as I didn't feel like spending $60 USD on a thermometer, and 2) Had decent ratings, and little to no reports about it being inaccurate. So It took me a bit to land on one that met both criteria.Well that's no good, considering the variance for a healthy temperature is +/-0.5 degrees.
