Most just get too hot, unlike my last half dane girl who didn't know the meaning of too warm.

Yeah I'm surprised your littler girl doesn't get under the blankets too Floof, she must have a warm under layer of hidden floof. Mine get hot but they'll snug and move back and forth if they get too hot.

Nah, she really doesn't like being under the blankets. In fact, it kind of freaks her out a bit. I guess she doesn't like the feeling of being covered. My Newfie would probably be warm enough to set my bed on fire if I tried! Lol

What's actually strange is that my Newfie, despite being a double coated winterized dog, actually doesn't really care about snow that much. Really odd since Newfie's have been known to not want to come back in the house during snowfall. With my littler girl she seems to like the snow... or rather she likes to lick lick lick it. Lol

Unfortunately I'm well past that stage as they were adults when I got them and they've already had plenty of snow days in the 3 years I've had them. But, come summer I plan to finally buy a kiddie pool. I can't wait to see what their reaction is going to be for that!

Several of mine were already adults as well, still got to see them experience it but it's not quite the same as the first time. Why I'm I picturing a Newfie laying in the kiddie pool like it's the best thing ever ?
She was so prissy about the weather, didn't like the cold, or rain, wind and didn't care for hot weather either, hence her being a giant bed potato most of the time.
