Oh, the Barbarians had quite a lot of wine. It was not that hard to overrun cities / buildings and rob everything which was there:
Drinks, food, spices, wine, little children, the older females, money (gold, silver..) and household equipment, animals..
It was rarely grown, harvested and produced by them, true.

Oh, it's really too cold in your region? I actually have a few vines with high amount of grapes on one of my buildings. ?
But as someone almost never drinking alcohol it's quite useless to produce wine.

Not really, only know where to find good expertise, that's all.
My fingers are better in building tech which then has a green thumb. As such my decaying curse-hands don't need to get involved much.
True, Sweden is a good bit colder than our region in Germany. Even we have years where it's too cold near the end of harvesting the grapes and you get ice wine. But this as well means less to harvest. So if it's another few degrees (earlier) colder, there's not much chance to grow grapes unfortunately.

Oh, that's unfortunate. I am not good with reoccurring timed events like "cut the leaves then", "add fertilizer on those days" is just not my style of living and I wave it off. To cope with this it's good that I can create almost everything I imagine through technology. It just takes time.
Big advantage is: the timed technology will keep it's green thumb-necessary timing interval. That makes effortless growing easy.
