Well, Canada really is a different place with a different history than us. Their culture and history does differ a bit from us, they have picked up on a lot of the USA's, shall we say, Americanisms. That's at least what I've picked up on from talking to several of them. Many of them don't even have an accent that's noticably different from a Midwestern American accent. Seems it's basically the US with poutine, hockey, the metric system (when they feel like using it), and socialized healthcare. Lol
