Pretty much yeah, started collecting guns decades ago with mostly mid to late 1800s lever action rifles and single action revolvers, ended up collecting everything military through WW2.

There's still a good chance that I'll eventually get a .38 revolver. Something I intend on purchasing some time in the future is an AR-15. Although if I can get my hands on one, I'd love to get one of those Soviet era SKS rifles. But I believe the legal ones are hard to obtain in the U.S. so I'm going to guess that they are super expensive.

A Russian made SKS is getting hard to find without spending a small fortune, and the earlier it was made the more valuable it is, like ones made in 1949 for instance.

I'd imagine so. I could probably get a Chinese one for a little cheaper, but I believe those were generally of a lesser quality than the Russian ones, from what I've researched about them.
