Well yes.

We were at a party and me and my wife were tipsy, so

I respect your openmindedness and sincere interest in your partner. He is a lucky man for sure.

To answer your question, I would hope for acceptance without judgement at the least. Understanding would be a great step up and strengthen our relationship for sure. And I don't even dare dream about finding a partner who would share my fetish.
 
I have. I have also had a very negative reaction. It's a terrifying risk to take. While I wish I could, I cant advise you either way.
 
Had a drinking problem a few years back and have mentioned it to a few people 😬 my ex didn't recieve it well- it didn't end the relationship but it was never discussed again.
