I have found abusive content in the past:

I've only joined recently, and I have zero experience with animal intimacy personally. Is there somebody to like, discuss this kind of thing with privately, get clarification? I don't want to just start stirring shit and publicly accuse people of abuse and it turn out I'm just some ignorant newbie making myself look like an idiot. But I've seen some stuff already that's made me think "Does the animal actually like that?"

I'd like to think I'm not totally ignorant, my zoophilic awakening came about after researching animal reproduction and sexual behaviour (for some reason I really wanted to be sure my yiff was accurate...) but still.

it's nowhere near the line (don't look at praise of others as making something alright), it is fucked up and deserves to be reported and removed. thumbs up.
 
I'm so glad for this thread. I've just joined this site recently (I was on beastforum many years ago) but I felt extremely uncomfortable with much of the porn on here. I was seriously thinking of leaving because much of the porn section and meet up section does not match my values at all, then I saw this post.

My view is we should seperate those who genuinely love animals from those who just get turned on by defying societal norms, ("like wow dude I love how fucked up this is" is the precusor to viewing and even making abusive content) this is also the path onward to further extreme sexual gratification such as child porn, and abuse. For those people, they need real life professional help and rehabilitation or incarceration.

Given that society has shunned us, we are left to places like this, where these rejects and deviants freely join and mix with us.

This is particularly problem because:
  1. New zoo's are going to be influenced into the wrong sexual practices as they veiw abusive clips because they don't really realise they are abusive. (This turns them into abusers)
  2. Because of the culture of this, zoo's are either going to start to think its okay to use or view abusive practices, or its not okay and leave this site, or perhaps like a few of you here, just stay out of the porn sections. Because of this, the porn sections are even more filled with those who don't care for the animal.
  3. It gives Anti-Zoo's (Aka most of society) so much fucking reason to keep us here in the dark underworlds, because they see us assoicated with those who abuse animals. There is some public sympathy, especially towards (troubled) women who have relationships with dogs because they don't trust men anymore, but even this is drowned out by public outrage at animal abuse.
  4. If a member of the public wants to understand it, they're probably going to visit the fucked up porn section first to understand what its all about down there. And they're gonna be disgusted. This experience or reports of this experience (from say journalism) helps drive us deeper into the underworld as, and rightly so, the rest of society does not want it to exist.
  5. As the internet becomes more connected and more regulated, it will be harder for sites like this to operate in the open space without getting shutdown. Look at the far-right in america. They cannot even open up a site anymore. I believe it's a matter of time before a focus turns to sites like ours - and the state that we're in, no one is going to question shutting us out and down, and fragmenting our community even further.
However, if we go back to history to find out where we stand, we can compare ourselves to the homosexuality movement of the 20th century. We are pretty much in the exact same situation. Society thinks we're mentally ill, deranged, and down right disgusting. We have to change that view, and like the homosexuality movement, it is going to be a long, tedious, and painful process.

First of all, we need to regulate our movement, and this seems to me to be one of the few places we can do it. We need to continue this project of getting rid of harmful content. Not only this but education and social cohesion. Those who abuse need to know they are no longer accepted here. They are not zoophiles, they are abusers, and I strongly suspect their abuse turn ons are spread out into all sorts. From my experience, I strongly correlate those who are into abuse of animals, are also into the abuse of humans and minors. I repeat, they are not zoophiles because they do not love the animal (Clearly) - they are abusers, and only fuck animals because it's another thing they can abuse.

Stop gate keeping. You think wider society looks at you fucking animals because you are in love with them any differently that a girl that’s fucks a dog because it’s taboo? You need to get off your high horse and stop being so holier than thou. You are just one shade of deviant lighter than the person next to you.
 
If you want to continue the discussion of who is gatekeeping what and who should or should not be on this forum, please create a new separate thread and keep this one relatively on topic. This thread should stay out of the dumpster fire and call people into action rather than delve into theoretical discussion.

Fortunately there are two more forums zoocommunity.org and zoowg.org which are zoophile oriented with no to limited porn. They are much slower and constantly in the process of dying. But that is to be expected when you remove fetishists from the daily post count. Both these forums have drastically lower number of users than zooville.

I do not agree with this statement. While it may influence some people, if you already love animal before discovering your zoophilia, bad porn is not going to make you an abuser. It may give you a bad example of how to for example jerk off a dog, but you are going to correct that as soon as you learn how to do it properly.
I agree that some porn may be questionably bad and only experienced zoos will spot what is wrong with it. But some specimens I have reported here were literal rape and nobody could have not seen that it was animal abuse. This stuff can in my opinion only be liked by non-zoos.

I do not think shutting down the forum is going to be a large problem. Because you can host the site from a server in a country that will not shut it down. And if that ever becomes a world wide problem, you can move the site to tor services. VPN use and TOR use is becoming more usual nowadays so even that will not be suspicious.

Well good luck with that. :D I have been here long enough to realize how incredibly futile this effort it. The number of actual zoophiles on this forum is negligible compared to the masses of fetishists that join weekly. None of us here are admins and the current admins have a different opinion on who is supposed to be joining this website. And according to my experience you are not going to change the rules.

The only thing we can do is to report wrong porn and make this place less appealing to fetishist by making the mods remove the abusive content. That can be done with the current set of rules. But as you can see not many people actually do that either.

I sort of feel bad, because even though I've been a zoo for a very long time and can spot abuse in a good number of species, I have a ridiculous amount of porn on my hard drive already, and animals I love so don't look at the porn I've already got that much. Thus I just don't get drawn in by the porn section here very often so I'm sure I'm not pulling my weight in this department. I do upload my own stuff on the odd occasion, in the hopes that adding to the loving stuff might make the tiniest difference, to offset all the not so loving and down right abusive content.

If only we didn't have to be so secretive to protect both our own and our precious animals identities, we could possibly make more content ourselves that showed the right way of doing things.
 
I am a fetishist in some aspects. Animal abuse is not one of my fetishes. I don't think these categories are as important as one's attitude. The presence of empathy and care for others, non-human or otherwise, and not viewing living beings as sex objects.

The rules are in assistance with removing abusive content as well as banning users that proliferate abuse. This is a good time to be a zoo with a responsible staff team at the helm.

I appreciate very much that this thread was created. Sex should never be forced and there must not be any place for abuse. Both people and pets involved in it are supposed to enjoy it, have as much fun and pleasure as possible, without any harm or forced behaviours.

I understand that due to the high amount of content uploaded to the website, the moderators can not review every video and thus rely on other users reporting bad content.

Because of my setup I can only review certain kinds of content. Large videos and content on some external websites is difficult for me to review because I use TOR.

Therefore I would like to ask the zoophiles of this forum who care about the lives of animals to help with cleaning the porn sections.
Please report abusive content. Use the rules https://www.zoovilleforum.net/threads/zooville-rules.20410/ your common sense, experience and knowledge of animal body language to identify bad content and report it.
It does not matter if you are wrong in some cases, all reports will be reviewed by moderators anyway and it is their job.
I believe that as zoophiles we should not allow animal abuse to thrive in zoophile communities.

Abuse on here is not isolated to animals only. Some people think that their own sexual desires allow them to post identifiable photos and videos of other people without their consent. This usually has the form of "reaction" videos or photos of someone they would love to see getting fucked. These people (mostly women) need protection too. Posting such content is against the rules and therefore such threads should be reported and removed.

If you are not sure, post a link to the thread in here so others can review it and help with making the right decision.

This has consistently been my biggest issue with the zoo community overall. As much as I love having a place to express myself openly, it can be difficult to know that there are a lot of producers and consumers of this kind of ilk throughout some of these boards. It's impossible to take all of it out, but I so much appreciate the effort put forth by the like minded, caring folks that care about the treatment of the animals in much of the porn related content that gets posted here. It's a tall task, but it makes me feel good to know that there's still a strong contingent of like minded zoos that care about this stuff. This is still by far the best forum I've been on. No place is going to be perfect, but I can tell that the people that run this place try to make it as accepting and free of abuse as they can.

The other day I reported and old black and white movie with a man doing an ewe in different ways.
Don’t remember if it got likes, but my first cautious post, that I found it abusive, got an answer from another member that he saw no problem.
But now a moderator has deleted it.
I am glad that the moderator has taken on this responsibility.
 
Today, I found an amateur video from Zooville on APR, uploaded by someone else. I informed the couple who posted this video here about it, so they could decide what to do about it.

The dog isn’t restrained in any way but he looks pretty uncomfortable and dogs don’t really get enjoyable out of anal. And the dog turns around to look and he shoos him away.
It just seemed pretty abusive and made me ashamed to be a zoophile.

That should not make you feel ashamed to be a zoophile. It might piss me off and make me feel bad for the animal involved, but any true zoophile would never put an animal through anything like that. As long as you put the animals wants before your own, and always make sure they are happy and well taken care of, there is nothing shameful about being a zoo.

Yep that sounds pretty bad, and your reaction is one that many of us have had over the years when seeing so much of the commercial animal porn out there. If I can I usually vote down or leave comments on such clips pointing out how it looked abusive and explaining why. If nothing else it might make someone who doesn't know better think about what they are seeing and question it, before they fantasize about doing the same thing or worse actually doing it.

You are absolutely right, but shame is rarely a rational thing, There are two components to this for a good number of people. 1) it's the thought that non-zoos might see such things and equate that to what all zoophiles do. 2) The thought: well they are into animals and I'm into animals so am I as bad as this person. One or both of these reasons are usually why zoos feel shame in these cases. Once you have community and find others who put the animals needs and desire first, it becomes far easier to push the shame aside and say "No I am not like that, what they are doing is wrong and does not equate to me, and how I treat my animals in a loving way."
