Truth be told, I actually really dislike "dark mode" on text based websites. IDK why, but my eyes don't want to adjust/focus on reading light text on a dark background. So when turned on, I end up taking twice as long to read anything on the screen, especially if it's multiple paragraphs. I typically leave it on the ZV pride theme because it fixes the "Ghost notification" bug for some odd reason. ?
Plus I like that it gives threads clickable sub-category dropdown menus.18 Triple 1

I see, I got the night eyes. Can't do all that white background. I guess in a way I'm the same but opposite, I end up focusing on all the white in the background and burning my eyes out reading the dark text.

I'm not sure of the reason. I sometimes wonder if it's due to my astigmatism? But my eyes just won't focus right. I also added to my post above. Oddly enough with the pride theme, not only does it fix the "ghost" notification bug, it also adds dropdown subcategories to categories... which I like. Something else I noticed with dark mode is that it's too dark to be able to see the "red squiggly line" when making typos. But that might honestly be due to my browser.

Hmmm interesting. I can't see the red squiggly typo line either in dark mode but I'm red green color blind really bad so probably not a good data point there lol.
