Recently found a fun little indie roguelike called NIMRODS. It's very much a horde shooter-y type of thing which takes inspiration from Vampire Survivors, but with the idea of having an ever evolving gun, pretty fun little game.

However just today I decided to revisit Black Mesa and been heavily appreciating the Xen creatures again haha

Oh man, do I ever have the post for this thread today, finally. You guys aren't gonna believe this…




This game is literally called "Man's Best Friend - Episode 1" and see our good boy, Rex, there to the left…he's the MC!!!

When a cheating father of two is kicked out of the house, his dog Rex becomes determined to take his place as the man of the house. As Rex endeavors to claim his rightful role as the undisputed Alpha he soon finds himself facing many challenges. Will he overcome the, frankly, unfair stigma of being a dog and claim the three women of the house for himself? Build a harem of sexy, dog loving women? Or forever be relegated to the role of a sexually frustrated pet? The choice is yours in this evolving, pet-friendly VN.

Tell me that doesn't take the cake. It lives up to the billing, so far, too. Sadly, there were no more episodes produced, but I've had a blast with it so far for the hour or so I've been monkeying around with it. I found it on accident among the deluge of content over at F95zone, and links to free downloads are available right on the thread over there. I'll probably throw together a quick installer script in PowerShell to simplify the process of integrating it with the Start Menu on Windows later today; let me know if you want a copy and I'll make a Gist of it for anyone to use.
