Its made, like a "Fisherman's Friend" cough drop, to ward off the cold of a German Hunter's morning. Though its become quite popular among a certain set, Im not convinced it was ever intended as a primary tipple

Oh, I see! I can imagine that it's origins are elsewhere, yeah. It was only a mini bottle (it's size was a bit more than a shot) but still had to give it to others, couldn't finish it myself

exactly, you have no idea how many ppl die every year in Russia (and not only there) due to drinking some self made booze full of methanol.
 
Absinthe for me, nearly drank an entire bottle in a few hours, I don't remember nothing. But my friends all look at me funny now so I've been really cautious and self concious about drinking.

Just to clarify, they probably die from being served a self made shirt drinks. There is a tradition of making some strong drinks like Brandi in Serbia, for example. The problem is when you don’t produce for your needs and for giving it to somebody as a present, but when you “cook” to sell.
Another problem is heavy drinking, ofcourse.

The problem is improper moonshine production. You have to throw out all the stuff that boils off before it gets to the boiling temperature of ethanol.
 
I dont like beer and I almost only drink Sommersby it's a cider made in Canada it goes down easy which can get dangerous bc before you know it you're hammered and the hangovers are really bad bc of the sugar
 
I can't stand tequila. I have no idea what it is, but it tastes and smells nasty.

I used to love fireball, but I can't stand to even smell it anymore. Pretty sure it was actually named for the way you vomit it back up.
 
I cant do any kind of beer, I can do cocktails, wine, tequila, hard sodas, hard teas, hard fruit juices, but I can never do beer. Idk why its just, really gross tasting :c I tried it many times and I just cant get into it

Went on a "bender" ones of drinks made with one main ingredient, well, did it a few times but this shit was the worst
