Personally I don’t see why baiting isn’t a ban able offence, it’s basically animal abuse, the dog isn’t consenting to anything, he’s just licking a treat off their owner

Well if a human is abusing themself it’s already been established that’s ok here. For example letting a dog piss in their mouth.

I administer and moderate many groups and pages. The stats of one of the biggest groups say 60% of the users were banned for this activity.

The abuse thing is a regular occurrence and everyone has an opinion on what abuse is. For example some may say trimming a dogs claws is abuse lol. There are extremes both ways and people playing the system.

so many are here to jerk off and go. Secondly the I’m holier than though art people that have no idea what having an animal partner is like. preaching what is right or wrong.

I really wonder what the heck is wrong with those people. I mean, I know about the existence of so called "zoo-necros" and such, so I know there's worse stuff out there, but getting pleasure out of one-sided forced sexual encounters is where a healthy mind should draw the line. Abuse should be way beyond that line. That should never be okay, unless it's consentual roleplay between two humans in a BDSM setting or something. But true, proper abuse? Ugh. This is one of them, already tried making a new account 2 times.
There are hundreds more that are a tiny little bit more intelligent and keep their mouth shut.
Which is why a honeypot would be an interesting idea. Same for pedos. Some people actually do that already.

Well, most Pedos already have inkbunny for that. While pedophilia, according to some brainscans that were done in a documentary I once saw where well explainable (according to this documentary), explained as unfortunate crosswiring of neurons that connect the instinct to protect innocents (like children) with sexuality (which also explains, why cub-art would mostly focus on vulnerability and why that apparently is an attracting factor), most of people with such an "orientation" either stay put, seek professional help (which of course can't cure any orientation at all, it can only help with finding coping-mechanisms) or they find harmless outlets for their fantasies, artwork, drawn or CGI to blow some steam off and might never be noticed by the outside world at all, since they're otherwise fully functional individuals. Then you have those people who went into the deep end and suddenly exclaim weird stuff or want to be loud and proud. I can't even count anymore how often I've encountered journals of people who publicly call for "zoo-pedo-pride movements"... Says it all, right? Maybe that's a reason why I also think that "zoo-pride" shouldn't be a thing...

As for zoo-necros... I knew they had communities in the past. I played with the thought to infiltrate them to bust them somehow, but I took too much time, thinking about ways to do so without drawing attention to myself. When I felt ready to do so, those communities (I heard about) already ceased to exist. They were either already banned due to some other whistle-blower among their ranks (that's how one of their discord groups died) and websites I knew got defunct quite soon as well.

I guess they are entirely capable to build their honeypots themselves by organizing until someone joins who just wants them to either get caught or for their groups to blow up.

That said, of course those individuals would certainly don't stop having their horrible kinks just because their groups cease to exist, but I feel strongly about us zoos to protect zoo-spaces from such individuals, to set a sign that certain mindsets are not welcome among us. That's why I'm so glad projects like this cleanup project exists.

It is genuinely disgusting to see the abuse involved in some videos. I think to an extent because of how unregulated the production and distribution of it is (you know, it being illegal in many countries), it’s impossible to properly control what is or is not involved in the content

I’ve only just set up this account, but when possible I’ll be joining that group

That plus a plethora of illegitimate websites and porn peddlers that don't care about quality, they just get swarmed with abusive shit, mostly because it's easy to find and some of those websites require you sharing porn before you can view and download porn yourself (the worst possible model for anyone valuing quality- and/or original content). Usually most of those sites also use watermarks, but blacklisting content from such sites doesn't make sense either, because they may also host legitimate, non-abusive content among all the trash, it's just harder to find. So the fight against abusive stuff might never end, but I'm glad that once again it's a topic that's important enough for people to put time and effort in.
