I did their 8 week, adopters do the rest. And 8 weeks is a perfectly fine age to separate, according to several breeder friends, and my vet.We don't let our GSD pups leave until 12 weeks to ensure they have had all their main injections,
My vet actually wants them gone now (7w) to take pressure of mom and get those back mammories healing, but people can't get their shit together and actually show up (yes I took deposits)
Mine are very well socialized, confident and bright. Those that have gone have reported back nothing but positive things, like sleeping quietly in their kennel, cause I exposed them to that as wellare old enough to separate from mum ready to explore the world confidently, well socialised and exposed to lots of sounds and smells and are free from any health issues.
I've been commended by many for how I raised these pups, as I raised them, in my home as if they were regular puppies.
They also went out with some starter training( come, sit, potty pads, toy interaction, don't chew, don't bite), those who had names had the names they chose reinforced
