Lifes purpose?

"It's one of life's great mysteries isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or is there really a God watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know, man, but it keeps me up at night."
...What?! I mean why are we out here, in this canyon?

I guess whatever keeps you grounded then so be it within ur faith/beliefs. I do believe that there's a G-d.

Every thing we do always really has a purpose.
For me, being here at zooville has a few purposes:
1- I wanted to meet good people here, because I felt very lonely.
2- I wanted to better understand my desires, and the people here help me with this task.
3- I want to help the world in some way accept the sexual desire for animals.
4- I want to welcome beginners, offering a space of respecct and affection.
5- I want to help develop knowledge about zoo.
6- I want to create good working and teaching groups.
7-I want to help people in Brazil develop good habits about zoo.
8- I want to be part of community of people who have the same desite as me.
;)

His quote is from a machnima called Red vs. Blue based on the Halo video game. In it a character asks another "Do you ever wonder why we're here." The response he gets is "It's one of life's great mysteries isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or is there really a God watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know, man, but it keeps me up at night."

To which the reply is; "...What?! I mean why are we out here, in this canyon?" The following link is to the episode mentioned.

Video games? Oh lord lol the last time I played anything like that was the early 90s.

Is a religious guy it’s my purpose in life to serve the lord the best way possible and my neighbor as well.
And HE may judge me after.

Oh, it's such an obscure reference even people that played Halo would never notice because it wasn't even a part of the actual game. Just some stuff people made in the early days of the internet lol

There’s no evidence the universe possesses will.
Yet we persist. It might be a matter of perception, but if we're talking facts that's quite a power it exerts over all of us and everything else. To drive us to continue enduring the harsh nature of existence simply to reproduce without end... yet evolution never ceases, not even for this moment. It continues on as if it has somewhere to go.

Some animals haven’t changed in hundreds of thousands of years. People kill themselves every day.

it just happens, there is no "Some place to go" it has no end point. it is like any complex system of multiple of forces interacting looking for entropy.

we are a result of the laws of physics playing against its self, So sure we could evolve tot he point we are just crabs with no higher consciousness, it is still evolution.

it is just are level of awareness we like to think there is some objective, or rather our brains need to impose it as a goal to rationalize it.
Now that we can agree on. Subjective self-perception is probably just an illusion, but free will is not. However, we can't escape our biology, and ignoring it is contrary to our nature, so therefore it influences our free will, but not outright controlling it.

It just happens, yes, but there are eventualities that become inevitabilities through cause and effect over spacetime.

Life is nothing more and mnothing less than self-replicating proteins seeking to continue self-replicating.

Human life is nothing more and nothing less than your parent's selfish desire to fill a hole in their own life with a child, if you were intentional, or carnal pleasure if you were an "accident".

…there was no more natural selection pressures to antagonize evolution.
Thank you for this opportunity, I was waiting for this moment. Now that humanity is no longer subject to natural selection pressures we are evolving based on the artificial selection pressures of civilization... and in case you haven't noticed that's a lot of pressure.

Actually, when you pierce through all of the stuff, we begin to understand that Forrest Gump was right…life is like a box of chocolates

life's purpose is to create connections and multiply them or if you want the other way which is whatever 'feels good' happens as often as possible. while others its simply to be as pure as possible as we all depart in time.

No ethnic American, some where they stopped breeding for inteligence, hence why it is turning into the bastard love child of Idocrasy and demolition man
Agree. I watched a video the other day of Americans being asked simple questions. Q.1 "When did America get her independence"? Answers that was given, 1812, 1947, 1877, 1902 was a few lol. "What country does the Queen of England come from"? Answers, China? Where's England! Lol I mean, what are they teaching in the schools.
