That and so much more.Man is a predator by a number of his characteristics
That doesn't mean he cannot also be its savior.Man is a usurper of the world
Mine is and has been for a very long time is to be a good doggy bitch to my lovers. And a Mare when offered StallionsWhy? Why are we here? What is the human purpose of being here?
If you believe in, G-d (myself) I ask this question a lot. What is my purpose of being.
Love to hear your thoughts on the subject.
Peaceful peoples need no savior. It is only when we are most troubled will we be willing to accept help, despite our pride.Yes, we don't do anything to keep the peace.
The beauty of free will!Mine is and has been for a very long time is to be a good doggy bitch to my lovers. And a Mare when offered Stallions
Agreed, as many do. Yet unions often require an external antagonist to catalyze their genesis.Strength is in unity
Everything? Generalizations are very often wrong. I work in healthcare and I focus on repair not destructionWe are not part of the ecosystem, we destroy everything
We had a lesson that needed to be learned. We are not part of the ecosystem, we destroy everything
I would honestly love to talk more with you on this subject and pick your brain about Judaism as someone considering conversion. Why? Why are we here? What is the human purpose of being here?

Pick away. Conversion starts with you and asking yourself, Why?I would honestly love to talk more with you on this subject and pick your brain about Judaism as someone considering conversion.
I was hoping for something a little more private than a public forum, but I don't think I can dm with this account yet, sorry. I have asked that question and I believe I have found an answer. I was actually intending to speak with an old therapist I saw before at the VA who I remember saying he was a Hasidic Jew. I planned to talk with him this morning about exactly this, but I got there an realized it's closed for Columbus day lmfaoPick away. Conversion starts with you and asking yourself, Why?
The universe has not and is not compelled to provide a purpose for anything. Why? Why are we here? What is the human purpose of being here?

True but that doesn't mean we can't ask, why?.The universe has not and is not compelled to provide a purpose for anything.
Yet it compels everything simply by its nature. Our very existence is nothing if not the will of universe. The universe has not and is not compelled to provide a purpose for anything.
Thank you so much for your responses I will be sure to dm when possible!Keep posting and you'll be able to DM real soon.
We jews believe everyone has a purpose and faith is part of that. You were born into the faith u were and that we see as, G-ds plan. That's why we say that, you need to understand why you would want to convert. But talk private when you can.
You're welcome babe.Thank you so much for your responses I will be sure to dm when possible!

Oh thats a whole conversation within itself! Catholicism confuses the hell out of me lol.I was raised Catholic but my views on religion have changed. I don't even think we all have a "life's purpose." I choose to live my life by my own set of rules and philosophies. I choose to treat others with respect and be polite until given a reason not to. I choose not to abuse others or commit crimes against others--not because a book tells me to or out of fear of what a book states will happen to me. I choose to be this way because it is how I want to live my life. In my opinion, there are far too many "good" people out there who are only good out of fear of eternal damnation. And if you are only a good person out of fear of punishment, how good are you?
