How do I clean a dog cock?

Any special precautions I should take before sex? He's clean of parasites and all that, but just want to know if I should do some special cleaning that region because I don't think Ive actually cleaned it properly before.
I shower him once every three days or so, but never directly on his cock.
 
I mean, unless he looks dirty or smells like urine down there, you should be good to go 👍 The amount of time most male dogs spend grooming the thing, It's probably cleaner than most humans. If anything, you might be bathing him a bit too much, that can sometime cause other non-cock related issues.

Been trying to find resources abt cleaning dogs, but I can only find things on infections. are infections a big issue if I do oral?

Nah you should be plenty safe, as long as he's healthy. The skin on his penises is actually quite fragile compared to a human so really trying to clean it could really irritate it, and that at worse could cause an infection for him. As weird as it sounds, think of the inside of his sheath and his penis like a vagina, Where actually washing up inside there with soap or what have you can actually really upset the balance of bacteria, pH, etc.

No precautions particularly. I do think that showering your dog every 3 days is too much. Does your skin get dry?
 
I think just washing the fur with water should be fine. But I would not use shampoo or soap this often.
I bathe my dog occasionally, he is very self cleaning and his penis requires next to no cleaning.
