How did you meet your first Zoo friend?

I had known this guy for years, we were friends in a sort of dom/sub relationship. It took many years for the topic to finally come up, and it turns out we were both zoos this entire time but didn't want to risk telling each other.
 
I know one person irl who's into zoo, though nowhere near as much as me (well I don't think anyway). I told him about this site and gave him a link though he didn't seemed very interested. I met him online on a non-zoo personals site (I'll tell you in DMs if you want). I'd met him a couple times when he said he wanted to drink my piss. It's not really my kink but why shouldn't I give him what he wanted? We went into a forest and did just that. He told me piss has a rotten taste to it. Then he said out of nowhere that horse cum apparently tastes like pineapple. I asked how he knew, he got it online, but said he did have an interest in sucking one irl when I asked him. That was when I told him I was a zoo, and he was fine with that. He's been licked before by a dog 😊
 
Found out my girlfriend was into animals too today. We’ve been slowly dancing around each other since we’ve gotten to know each other. We both knew the other was furry and into feral. We were playing the questions game and were getting closer and closer and she finally asked outright. I was reluctant but she assured me she wouldn’t judge, and so I confessed— only to get one right back. Even got me into this forum (though I think we’ll keep our activity separate for safety :) )
 
Oh I don't think I could say I had any real zoo friends, just people I've chatted with here and there over the years.
I tend to be a private person, keep to myself and am genuinely skeptical of people.

I don't really have regular friends tbh, so every zoo friend I have is from online. Ive never met anyone in person yet simply due to financial issues. Hopefully I can get out and be somewhere closer with my zoo buddies that way I may have some friends in my life.

Survivorship bias, it could be a pretty small percentage.

I'm the same as you and have only been able to open up here, it's too risky everywhere else

Same here, I refuse to talk about this stuff publicly anywhere but here. Nowadays this is like the only relatively "safe" place as far as I'm concerned. Especially with most people having a decent online footprint, opening up to people in person or other places are a huge risk. If someone has a photo of your face or your full name it's over for you if they have bad intentions. If I'm bring up zoo in person it's with someone I have known for awhile and have mutual trust with.

It's all part of the overall bigger picture. My #1 motto is let the dog do the work. Everyone is better served if the "owner" can get out of his own way and let the dog work his magic.
 
I guess we're no longer friends - but a dating app.

It's no longer around but I was in a low place and went to a more shadier dating app and met someone I clicked with who was local. We connected, went on a date and ended up in a 4 year relationship together.

He recently used to me to watch his dogs and then proceeded to tell me I didn't do a good job and ended up blocking me everywhere and not paying me so - we're no longer speaking.

I tried, it was a honest attempt and I just...failed, as usual according to him.

My other zoo friends were actually just friends before we found out about the zoo thing. Lol.
 
Initially messaged them on BF since we were pretty aligned in our z and non-z interests/values. Luckily I had a family member living in the same place they were residing, so was able to meet up for a few days to hang with them. Best decision I ever made!

Well I already found some p0rn that was questionable like a few months before, and the topic had been reoccurring throughout the relationship in subtle ways, also he mentioned he used to watch doggy/on girl p0rn at one point but made it seem like it was in the past, I was WAY WAY MORE INFURIATED that he kept things from me and wasn't transparent and honest!! Like that's the issue for me.

well ,,,, ummm..... nope , on both, for a while now .
seems people tend to shy away from you when your wife is a cheating whore and you mercilessly beat your former "friend" so badly they end up in the hospital because something just clicked while you were beating them and kind of locked you in to what you were doing to the point that it took being Tazed by the cops to stop me beating his face in, long after i had already broken my hand while doing so.
fun fact, that day i learned that cop mace is merely a mild irritation and not at all effective on me as a deterrent in the slightest, but apparently electricity is.
but yeah , after that shit show my friends started dropping like flies, and now its just me my dog mabel and our 4 kitties .
so yeah, there ya have it, now you know why im an agressively, for the most part , anti people asshole .
nowadays it is a rare thing for me to be nice or sociable , more so even for me to actually like some one.
so for those of you that fall into those incredibly small categories , well, i guess, sorry 🤷‍♂️ you seem to have some how won the internets shittiest lottery, your prizes are either being spared my venomous and vitriolic scorn and contempt, or for you unlucky few , i actually like you. sorry bout that shit luck.
