Just someone with some industrial knowledge, a good 3D printer for the mold and a free basement.

Dies that mean quality or reliability? No.

I have been super interested in these myself and have been looking across twitter at them, but I have held off on purchasing until some more videos/reviews come out as I heard some noise on Plush_Shibe's twitter of the Chillet toy he had tearing as well as some users in the replies saying it tore for them also.

It would be a shame if these turn out to be poor quality as I find the idea to be really cool, I hope there can be more toys like this in the future.

Silicon is tough, but any microcrack in the process (cut, impurities...) will start a tear.

Well, those are absurdidly cheap for a high quality silicon, so they msy have cut some rdges and I would not expect them to last as long as an expensive one.

Best case scenario is as they get more experience, to develope a second (expensive) high quality line, while keeping the low budget ones
