it won't. pinky is enough for a male dog to get in, they don't go in erect.

you might check your chances again when she's in heat. some girls get a bit looser, some a bit narrower.

Is this while she is in heat? You may need to work with her considerably to work up to greater insertion, I am told. I unfortunately don’t have a lot of hands on experience yet to share here for assistance, but I am hoping for that to change in future.
