Combatting Spam accounts and New Forum Rules.

That's exactly right. I believe that the user sharing content should be original and not repost hundreds of times elsewhere. having already shared content that I've actively searched left and right and not just through crap category zoo sites, I'm not interested in that sort of thing ...

What I don't like about new members is that they copy content from here to elsewhere and I've seen this through a Google account before. Also sharing some very basic and very old old content in this group just to get points ... it bothers me a lot.
As a new member its a bit sad that we seem to be considered as lowlife annoyance to some members. And that the only way of dealing with the new menace is to block, hinder and make life difficult until they bugger off somewhere else. I have never nicked anyones porn to post online and I hate spam with the same passion as everyone else on here. So I will not be spamming everyone into oblivion. I'm not saying that everybody is like that. In my few days here I have chatted with some very nice experienced people who offered help and advice and a few newbies who like me are finding their way and all were very nice and considerate. Perhaps if it was easier for the new people to become a part of the community none of the other annoying things would be happening.

No, the current post count requirement is enough. Using the BF system would destroy what makes ZV awesome.

I agree that content leaving this site for re-posting else where is a bad thing, and I have specifically asked people not to upload my alpaca content to any other site that does not support the Zeta principles. That said requiring new members to have to upload content before they can download is potentially a bad thing also. I will give an example:

Lets say I love dogs but have never had sex with a dog and want to learn how to do it. I join ZV and find I can't download any videos unless I upload something first. I'm just a new zoo... So do I go elsewhere and download probably some abusive dog porn (remember I am new to this, I don't necessary know that madly stroking a dog's penis is a very bad thing, but it's what I've found elsewhere.) So now I come back to ZV and upload my abusive dog handjob. [****Then Pes has a new video to get removed for abusive content.****] now I can download something. Yay
Or I go out and I fumble my way through making my own dog porn using the examples I have seen in other places. Thus I start learning how to do bad things with my own precious dog, because again I haven't been able to see examples of the correct way of doing thing on a genuine zoo site like this one.

It is inevitable our content will end up else where. But I look at it this way, the more good or correctly performed porn that is out there the more likely someone new will see a non-abusive way of doing things.

So I think it is more detrimental to stop new people download content before they have uploaded their own than experienced users having their content posted elsewhere. I for one do my absolute darnedest to make sure there is nothing in my clips that can lead back to me in real life and just have to accept that if I put something on the internet I forefit any real control over it.

in the 4th paragraph, I completely agree with you on this point at the beginning of the line. I remember in the old BF the new users did not have access to content such as photos and videos before having a certain number of points or a certain number of content sharing that avoided that new users qualify as leeches come to register just for that without participating in the group.

I'd hazard a guess that joining a group is a private message, and since you're not able to send private messages you can't send the join request.

Sorry for this stupid question. Is there a place I can view my post count?
^ +1 on this and also does this system work?

Is the ”Fun and Games” sub forum the only one that’s excluded here? Seeing as I find it strange due to having posted the minimum 10 posts in other forums (more if you include ”Fun and Games”) but I still either can’t find it for the life of me where to PM someone or it hasn’t activated?…

I’m not saying I’ve just posted simply to get my posts up, I am slowly trying to get involved more and more, but I am also new.
I’m just saying it seems rather odd, going by the information in the OP in this thread.

Pay attention, gents. You havent been, so try to now. Fun n games posts do not count. Profile posts do not count. And the post count number for each user is on the left hand side of your Profile header as ( drumroll, please) messages. This number is all the posts that do count that you have made..
Brutalphelan has 19 and privez has 11... ta da!

Does this apply for mobile users as well?

Seeing as mine says 11, which you clarified as well, and I either can’t find where on earth to PM someone or I simply can’t?…

It says that I can message you when I click on your profile. I think someone else said that it might take some time when you get over 10 posts.

Ah yes, that is correct then.

Now when I looked at someone’s profile, the ”Start conversation” button popped up, wasn’t there before. Must be that it takes some time for the system, seeing as it’s different from forum to forum.

Thanks for the clarification though, much appreciated!

Does that mean you can’t join groups either ? Tried today and it’s giving me an message about PC’s
Yes, requesting to join a group sends a PM to the group owner, and you can't PM (well actually YOU can, you're at 12 posts).

As another new member - I don't feel like a lowlife annoyance at all, but I can imagine the spam that would come through

Good, we don't want you to feel bad, but yes a heck of a lot of spam comes through and the girls get it the worst, which is sad, because it gives them the impression that we are all bad news and chases some of these poor ladies clean off the site, by the sheer volume of crap messages and comments that come their way.
