A question for the trans men here!

Heyas peeps!

Hopefully this comes off as genuine curiousity and not something weird or bad.

I sort of noticed there's a lot of trans men who find their way here, I was wondering if there's a reason for that? It's a very vague question I know but it sort of ties into some IRL stuff.

I have a bunch of friends who are ftm and of the ones I've been intimate with they have all been into puppy play! (Which I'm all for I absolutely adore it, and after a lil chatting with a couple I know at least part of it is I get every excuse to call them good boy!) But I can't exactly ask them about IRL animal stuff randomly can I? It's not quite the same thing.

So basically I was wondering if any of you guys on here had an answer or idea, instead of me guessing at it.

Hey whether there's a definitive reason or not is fine with me! I'm also a lil amused that this is something you've thought of as well :husky_laughing:

Pup play is amazing so that might just be a good enough reason for any guy to enjoy it!

serious answer though its just a very common kink, trans women are also often into petplay. many people are into petplay for that ... but when you confront gender identity and sexality, often that comes with actually acknowledging your kinks and what youre into. and for a lot of people, the first thing is usally a collar and a leash.

I mean heck I've been into petplay since before I knew what it was as a curious teen.

It's a pretty fair point you're making. I was actually doing a little bit of research on this a few days ago and found that on average trans men and women are almost equally more into various kink activities (by a pretty decent margin) than more gender conforming people. It makes sense after only a few moments of thought, but still surprises me at just how many cis/hetero people out there just never get curious or exploratory at all!
 
yeah thats the thing, cishets or whaatever, "normies" dont ever think about any of it becuase of the shame. they cant even watch a show they wanna watch, or start the hobbies they wanna start, because of all their damn shame. but like, with furries though, at some point you do have to face the question "why ... AM i into this?" and i assume most people on this site have at some point asked the same thing, and you either break free from the shame or you dont .... am i preaching to the choir ?
 
As a trans guy, i feel like trans ppl are often into a lot more kinky stuff than cis ppl in general? I myself am personally not actually into pup play lol but i have soooo many weird kinks, and beast stuff is like a drop in that ocean. Id guess its the same for a lot of other trans guys!
