Birds As Partners

Looking for advice on having a bird as a romantic partner. Any species recommendations, ways to bond, etc. are appreciated.
I know birds are small and sensitive animals so some romantic activities may be hard or generally uncomfortable for them; I would love responses from bird owners to see what species are better for handling and bonding and how to do those things

I said romantic. I am not interested in sex with birds, please do not twist my words
In the case just see what birds you bond with. All songbird sorts, typical pet birds, are in my opinion very intelligent and capable of bonding with people. I remember seeing the eyes on my aunt's parakeet light up when I clicked my teeth back at her rather than just talking to her. They're smart, social animals.

I even knew a girl who was very bonded with her pigeon and it free roamed her bedroom with her.

I think you'll be better off if you just go see some birds and see which you vibe with

Thanks so much! I have been considering a pigeon or dove, they're so gorgeous and I believe they can form quite large bonds with their owners.

These people know:

Youtube is a good source of evidence on which parrots for example form what bonds with their owners.
The problem I see with birds is messing up their imprinting and making them imprint on a human. I personally find that unethical as you are using a biological mechanism they have no control over against them.
Second issue is that almost the entire bird is an erogenous zone, so unless you want to turn them on, you can not touch much.
In parrots for example it can lead to a lot of problems when they are in heat or a hormonal season.

(For sex, get an ostrich or if you are comfortable with just handjobs, get an emu. They can actually bond with people quite a bit if you are lucky.)

Chickens would make amazing romantic partners imo. They make great pets as it is. When raised by hand they are incredibly friendly, happy to cuddle, fall asleep in your arms, accept kisses on the head and beak, and unlike some other birds known for being friendly like cockatoos and parrots, there’s no chance of getting bit. They can however peck you in the eye lol but it’s usually not bad. They can even be indoor pets if you either get tiny bantams like Seramas and keep them in a terrarium/cage like setup, or large fowl can be indoor pets as well but you’d need to have them diapered and loose as a terrarium or similar isn’t big enough. But yeah I’ve definitely had some romantic feelings for my chickens before :3 I’d post some pics of my old rooster I was in love with but sadly he’s passed away and the old pics I have of him are all very much on social media.

I'm so sorry about your rooster passing :( I would love a chicken though, they are so adorable
