Do you judge someone by their profile picture?

Everyone judges. Wherever they mean too or not.

A picture can say a lot. If it's just a letter alone then what does that give you? A picture of a dog? Depends on the pose. My profile picture? Come on dude, judge that. I'm bending over for you here.

Do I have a cute ass?

What's to judge? Like so many others that folks think are clever, sexy, cute, whatever, once it's shrunk down and cropped, it's frequently just a splat of colors that I, at least, can't make much of anything out of. People need to figure out that unless it's fairly simple (mine is admittedly right on the bleeding edge of being too complex) what looks good at normal size and uncropped usually turns into a meaningless smear of colors when it gets processed into an avatar for use on a forum. Yours is a prime example of that concept in action - I haven't got the first clue what it's even intended to be.

Depends on the pic and the site. If its in the theme of the site then its ok unless its excessive like a dick pic. Some anonymity is anticipated on adult sites and especially a zoo site. If they show their unobstructed face in their avatar then they're probably fake.

What's to judge?
People tend to not have a good eye for subtle details. I do. I'm as obsessed with details as Batman is.

If something isn't "aware" then it's "subconscious".

It's more complicated when it's a picture of a dog. How is it look and where? What direction? All of these help clue me in about someones "real" personality. Does it have a slight head tilt with a curious look? Then odds are the real person is the inquisitive type. Maybe more playful.

Demonic profile pic? Then you're probably less afraid of darker things. Soft delicate looking picture? Then you might have trust issues because you're weak and get afraid more easily.

I've been online every day for a decade. One picks up on things. I also talk to the people with the pictures and I'm proven correct.

A name can also tell you a lot. If someone is called Shar for example then that's the goddess of loss from D&D. As I suspected that person had anxiety. I worked the topic in. Shar is the goddess of loss in D&D so it was pretty clear to me why they'd gravitate towards the name. People gravitate towards what they relate too.

The most subtle of details. A picture. A name. The smallest clue can clue people in. If you know what to look for.

I'm more suspect of a single letter without a picture. Had one of those try to exchange discord names on first message. Makes me suspect. "Blank" profile pictures make me cautious. I'm a risk taker but why would someone want to exchange discord names right away when messages work? Blank profile picture can also indicate lack of imagination.

Dick pics show no shame. And maybe desperation for fun instead of what's on the mind. That's going to depend.

I've been learning observation for a decade. So I'm like hyper sensative to even the most subtle of details. The skill comes in reallllly handy when someone plays with their zipper inside their coat. I noticed the gun in that case. I defuse tense situations. A keen eye comes from learning to handle difficult people. It wasn't my goal to learn observation. It's more something that happened when I stopped "Looking" so hard.

I really try not to, yet people with no picture at all and simply a letter tend to depress me a bit: though am more auditive than visual, I like to have a glimpse in people’s psyche, and no image at all shows a lack of concern or creativity I find concerning… I’d much rather see a cock than an initial ?

Watch the letter people start using dick pics. Hahahahahahaa!

If it consists of genitals or none at all usually. All I can picture is a person that quotes “that’s hot” in every thread in the porn section. It also tells the angle and or reason they are here in the first place.

I'm good with subtle details but I struggle with food pics.
Sorry it was the first thing that crossed my mind: I love Brooklyn 99, and Terry’s character… and since Terry loves yogurt ?

What I mean is for me both names and pic are a part of the online personality and should reflect that: I initially put more hentai pics but got censored (twice!!) and opted for a more subtle and toned down pic, that’s actually more like me and it still shows my passion for anime, plus she looks like me so it gives indications…

A big P + PenisBoy53557 gives a whole different vibe ?

Keep in mind that the "letter avatar" is the forum default - First letter of your handle on a (seemingly - maybe there's a system that I haven't picked up on) random-colored background. To me, at least for the first few times such a person is around, all it says is "I haven't figured out how to install a non-default avatar pic on this forum software yet". If they stick with the default, well... <shrug> Really got nothing to go on, unless it's falling back to "they must be lazy/stupid".

I don't suppose that vibe would be "worthless wanker totally lacking in anything resembling couth"? :)

Cliche tho it be " You get no second chance to make a first impression". Any newb coming to my attention gets looked at, profile-wise. At that point, the avatar and any profile pic are linked, and decisions are made. Some are not impossible to overcome, but as behavior and attitude kick in, first impressions are reinforced. How is it that anyone does NOT act in judgement of some sort....? Add in that often, those questionable pics are posted BY cliche people, and it seems impossible not to dismiss many of them.

I know a lot of my content is very sexual, and I get judged for mine, but zoo sex the part everyone is already thinking about when you tell them you are a zoo anyway. I do enjoy sharing my physical experiences, because not everyone will get to have them. People don't want to sit there, and watch me cuddle my dogs for hours, but I still do every day.

Good topic!
Usially I'm not judging anyone but some profiles looks kinda interesting. Only profiles with human dicks concerns me a little, I'm curious why some ppl uploading genitals but.. who I'm to judge? Everyone have his own mindset and preferences. I love my BF arts, someone may love his own dick, others love non-sexual pictures, funny avatars etc.

I'm with you, I also post a lot of sexual content. I feel I get judged in other areas of the site, like in debates or important topics it's almost as if nobody takes me seriously because they've seen me doing it with my four-legged friends. But isn't that what the site is for? Amongst other things obviously. I almost want to create one account for content and another one for regular posts.

I think a lot of zoo folk are highly active sexually, but people do still seem to follow the old trope of, anyone who does sex work, or is over active sexually, must be unintelligent.

Yea I hear you, I was quite active on beastforum back in the day and maybe things were different back then but somehow I can't help but feel like there are a lot of elitist, almost gatekeepers on zooville. Like you're joining an exclusive, premier club.

And yep, the stigma is definitely there. Everyone has sex and I'm sure everyone here enjoys the content people post. But if you post anything yourself then you're a single-digit IQ, perverted simpleton. ?

I view it as if the picture has changed at some point then they care about their profile and will be an active member not just a person who shows up for a month or so then disappears. That’s why I try to follow the people who are active and have changed their avatar.

Of course. Profile picture most of the time is mirroring it's owner peronality/likes/interests. Not judging people by what they have there feels like a mistake for me

I don't respond to any human genital avatars but most times I do also see by someone's texting/wording what person they are ,no matter what type of avatar it is...
