I will say I don’t think as a dark skinned person I ever encountered someone else into it. I was introduced to it by these two white guys i was in a frat with in college.

Ive encountered a few of us into it dark skinned as well its great! I have a potential Im working on!
 
I am surprised that there are more of us than I thought but the downside is there are no black females I know in DFW.
 
The first actual photographs I ever saw, if I remember well, of women with dogs was back home while in Junior High. A friend of mine brought them to school after having retrieved them from a metal drum in which they burnt detritus. He, the person burning the photographs, was a military men and they were photographs of women of Afro ascendance with his German shepherds. In the U.S. I met a grand-mother of Afro ascendance who never told anyone she had encounters with her dog when she was younger because it was so taboo. She told me because we were entertaining a BDSM relationship and she came to know that there was very difficult to shock me. Surprising me, sure.
It's a matter of what's falls under the heading of kink and that's all a matter of mind regardless of nationality or ethnicity. I was with a Kenyan who was into a lot of stuff that is not accepted in her culture. She had also a bunch of female friends who were also into all sorts of things. We were supposed to acquire two dog from a friend of hers who was a breeder. She singed her messages to my friend as K9. I have met people of Afro ascendance who didn't know they would like it and found out that they got turned on by it. Many of them came to feel that way after we've had conversations about what's in their heads as opposed to how they socially conformed. As many of use might know here, we have a "presentation" for the outside and we have who we really are at our core. Were we to have been living in some of the Scandinavian countries prior to their ban from right wing governments coming into power or influence in 2014, it would be totally normal and acceptable. Actually, it wouldn't be a big deal, so there wouldn't even be a mention of it. Just like in some south American cultures, fucking a donkey is somewhat accepted or at least known about, my African friend told me that many of the males she grew up with fucked goats.
I found that it's a mixture of money, where if the person grows up with access to resources and are exposed to cultures beyond their own, they become open to a lot of things; on the other end, there are very little stigma linked to many aspect of sex because of the fact that they aren't part of a social class that is supposedly better off but whose members have shunned, supposedly "lower class" practices for emulating what they believe Euro cultures do. So seemingly some contradictions, but it all comes down to the natural human animal which forms the basis of who we all are. To which degree one has come to internalize guilt from a moral system which is anti body and sex.
Human beings are who they are. It's a matter of accessing what lies deep inside of them and working around or through the camisole of social conventions and morality which tend to make one's body something foreign that most have to come to relearn, accept and love, if at all possible. Some come across an image or a video and that short-circuits their conformity and goes straight for their clits or dicks and they quiver or quiff. Some are perturbed and disturbed, others give in but culpabilze and reorder things in order not to have to deal with the former and other say, "yeah, that's what I've been missing and looking for." It's not the amount of melanin in the epiderm which dictates anything; only the brain.

For the same reason you don't find many Ebony and Female serial killers, and Ebony incestuous couplings....the basic kinks involved are Western European ones. The propensity for these varietal behaviors are "cooked" into our genetics. The research hasn't been done to discover propensities that are "Ebony"- oriented(or strictly female-orientations), but THIS ain't it.

You grow up poor, at best renting some tiny place at 18. No college, you can move up a bit, but not much.
It's complicated but the end result is... No pets. No space or money for a big dog in a small apartment, and you grew up the same way so you were never exposed to dogs in a friendly way. You've only ever been barked at from a distance, so even if you are born zoo, you never get your awakening and either settle for humans, or grow up asexual.
Odds are you'll never get to own a home, either. Bad credit is a big issue. When you're starting from zero, credit... ain't a concern in the slightest, and you throw it to the wind just to survive. So no big yard for a dog to play in. No big rooms to lie in. And certainly not any big farms to own horses on.
Note, none of the issues are unique to being black. They're issues of poverty. But poverty occurs at higher rates in black communities.

Thanks for some sobering observations. It's a challenge to remember that systemic items like that can easily skew even are kinky little corner of fun that deeply thank you for sharing.
