ZV needed a cleanse

I didn't name any users because not everyone here are arguing. And because it's not my intention to attack anyone personally. I just wish that people could have appropriate conversations here without getting personal.
Make a step back, have a global look on the forum, cuttie. I wish this could be a place of universal love going beyond species. It is not. Moderation and mediation speeches are not that effective. Be patient, use them when you catch the good opportunity.

Yeah, you've got a point... Probably better to just focus on the conversations via PMs, those have been good so far. Thank you for answering friendly, tho! ^^

i dont really get why there is so much fuzz about deletion from human only threads in a forum going around animals and human x animals?
People were using it. And if a mod deletes it with no explanation, people think there was something wrong and are less likely to post a replacement for fear of getting their own account deleted. I've seen accounts deleted and have received friendly warnings to not even like certain types of posts because some mods delete all users who even posted that they liked something. I saw one account deleted after someone mentioned they had "thoughts that probably would get their account deleted" just 3 months ago. And with no explanation why it was deleted. Was it for what I read or something else? Who knows? Not me.

After seeing things like that, there is a significant "tread lightly" undercurrent, so there is a resistance to replacing a thread hat was deleted just in case you might piss off a mod and lose your account for an unknown reason.

Does that make sense?

Tons of posts in the dumpster fire were deleted as well, that's where nearly everyone's missing posts went, I've been restoring the largest of them as I get time.
Honestly, why nuke Active Girls? And thank you for mentioning that you are restoring threads as you can and that most nuked posts were in Dumpster Fire. I spend almost no time there, so I am unaware of most everything there needing nuking. You see more that needs cleaning than most. We simply see, "Hey, why is that thread I used to visit gone and why did it need to be deleted?"

Okay, I agree with Nekdoneco. I looked at the nonzoo women section for a minute and found so many unnecessary threads in it. However, the "show the leaking sperm" thread, which was full of fucked pussy pictures and I think that's why the horny members are crying, hasn't been restored yet.

This deletion was fuck up.
What the, was it touched for anyway? Originally, it was supposed to only delete link dump, request, meetup, country threads because they were full of illegal content and hard moderate. This was a really good idea.
The rest of them were fucking fucked up.

I have weird discrepancies dealing with my reaction points. If I click on my profile reaction received it's says 1265.
But on my quick view profile it says I have 1216 reaction score. Before the purge these numbers matched.

Also I've noticed since the purge , my reaction score doesn't go up after receiving reactions every time. Like I got three yesterday and it only went up by one.

boop

Alrighty I answered the second part of my own question. It would appear that dumpster fire reactions are no longer counted in your score. They only count in your post count but any reactions you receive are not counted.

boop boop

Xenforo does not support disabling reactions based on sections, there was a discussion about this on the other forum a while ago, because people in the entertainment threads were unjustifiably getting hundreds of thousands of points. Someone is lying then...

Comment counting should also be turned off on DF. It would give a much more authentic picture.

There were more than 4 threads last time I was on
yeah seriously

Deleted.

Out with the old, time to make new.

Many threads that were full of dead accounts, banned accounts, and other things like 1 post loser accounts were zapped.

There were a few instances of active threads that also got the hammer, but most were just a cluttered waste of server space.

If you feel there was a thread here that was current and didnt merit deletion, contact the staff member who did the cleaning.

Otherwise, look at it as a chance to start a current thread where anyone who responds is actually a current member and not an account thats 4 years gone and still wasting everyones time.

I wish to inform the community that it is not possible to open again threads dedicated to active girls, an attempt of mine to do so was a few seconds ago deleted, at least now we know that it cannot be done.

Thread still is not purged and deleted for some reason...
Why ZV keeping this thread? For what purpose? This is not related with pets we all love.

Also an active woman or man who want to share with us and show themselves is relative to this forum, but also those who are not active but have a sentimental or erotic latency for zoophilia and show themselves is relative to this forum, other topics in the forum do not concern zoophilia, in the forum there are many, but sex is about zoophilia, fantasies are about zoophilia, desiring a k9 girl or an active man is zoophilia, what bothers me a lot here is the bigotry of many people who have not understood that a nude body shown by those who are active or like zoophilia is about this forum, the problem is putting nudity in the porn section, nudity is not pornography. In the forum there is pornographic material but a naked body is not pornography. The absurdity is that in 2025 someone still has to point this out in a forum dedicated to zoophilia.

I don't really mind that there are naked bodies from active users who like to show themselves in the non-zoo porn section. But I think it's inappropriate that there are some people who just spam the forum with hundreds of images they download from porn sites. For example, there's this Stockings, Fishnet, and Knee Socks thread full of images from PornHub, etc. In my opinion, such content does not belong in a zoo forum and should be deleted. Users posting images of themselves are great, but not this commercial crap; if I want to see that, I'll go to those sites.

It seems I'm back down to 180-odd posts, I was closing in on 250, sadge. I assume dumpster threads got nuked, I had a bunch of posts there

that's what I think too, naked bodies are not to be considered porn, they should have a dedicated section, if there are members who want to show themselves politely and without vulgar images they are not porn.
vulgarity for me is in other threads, vulgarity if not apparent is a subjective thing and a naked body for me is not

Yes it was implied that deleted threads are not to be reposted, although it was not clear, then you can disagree if the active girls thread was to be deleted, for me not but I am not a mod.

Hi,

I absolutely cannot understand the ill-considered decision to delete all personal ad and meetup threads and posts. What kind of signal does this send to users when their posts are deleted after less than a day? I think this is a sure-fire way to scare users away and chase them off. Even if the threads are a week, a month or a year old, you can't tell from their age alone whether they have been dealt with.

And the many deleted posts in the Bestiality Discussion section contained important knowledge for reference. Apart from that, a lot of work went into the posts; I alone spent many hours researching, which were now wasted. Users feel that their commitment to the forum and other users is not really appreciated.

I strongly doubt that this will increase their motivation to get involved and help others. Why invest effort if there is a risk of deletion? Users will then limit themselves to very superficial posts.

As an admin and moderator in one forum for 25 years and a visitor and active member in around 200 other forums over the years, I can say that other forums never delete users' knowledge or specialist posts, as this is precisely what makes forums attractive.

When other forums want to clean up, they try to get rid of inactive members, for example. They are notified and told that if they do not log in within a specified period, their account and posts will be deleted.

This alone would remove a lot of ballast from Zooville. Banned or otherwise blocked users and their posts could be deleted without further ado. A similar procedure could be followed for personal ad and meetup threads and posts, but with a time limit. Thread creators are notified when their thread is one year old that it will be deleted and that they should create a new one if necessary.

There are other useful ways to tidy up and make the forum clearer. All Meetup threads should be moved from the discussion sections to the relevant Personal Ad and Meetup sections. Another option would be to close threads with topics or questions that have clearly been resolved to prevent further posts. If users still want to contribute to a closed thread, they can send a private message to the thread creator. However, the thread creator should be allowed to reopen the closed thread if he believes it is not yet resolved. That much tolerance should be granted.

For me, the most important thing is that people talk to each other and don't just act. Most of the crap in the world happens because people don't talk to each other enough.

Kind regards
CdB
Exactly this

I had presumed that it was better not to open a new thread for active girls in the forum, some people told me that it was possible but from your words my intuition was confirmed, now I understand the new rules better, I don't agree because my old thread was active and not vulgar and it was dedicated to k9 women in the forum 🤷‍♀️

Can we get permissions to actually do something with the damned groups, seriously I am fed up with there being a section of the forum that's completely inaccessible for anyone that's not a administrator.
Hmm, I thought that ZV moderators had access to the forums groups, so only a ZV admin does?

Can't even view posts in anything that's set to be private, hell there used to be groups that were completely invisible but at least that was addressed.

This is what I get trying to view the mare lovers group posts.

*sighs* Obviously, I'm not knowledgeable of ZV's inner workings. @ashy and I would appreciate/love to have you rejoin the group. We're working hard cleaning it up and purging banned, inactive/lurker accounts. The vast majority of applicants are denied as we are looking for genuine, sincere mare lovers, NOT wankers, wannabes, porn-mongers and trolls (e.g., bestialists/fetishists).

The way I discovered the 'purge' was from a post in the DF that explained the drop in my post and reaction count. No biggie really and I'm all for 'cleaning house' from time to time. I'm a bit surprised though that some of the staff was no on board for this as such an operation should have the entire staff on board and be well planned and announced in advance IMO. I'm certain that there are likely several other areas that could use a good cleaning too.

It was a great thread when it started.

It just over time became a thread filled with fakes and banned fakes. Nature of the beast on sites like these. Start another one. Nothing I know of says you can't or shouldn't.

Over time, it will be filled exactly the same way, but it can always be started up again.

I dont see it as any different than zapping the roll call threads. As those also fill up with dead accounts and fakes. Your thread had some good posts in it though, where the various roll call threads were just mostly dead space without much visual appeal.
