ZV needed a cleanse

Thread still is not purged and deleted for some reason...
Why ZV keeping this thread? For what purpose? This is not related with pets we all love.
I don't really mind that there are naked bodies from active users who like to show themselves in the non-zoo porn section. But I think it's inappropriate that there are some people who just spam the forum with hundreds of images they download from porn sites. For example, there's this Stockings, Fishnet, and Knee Socks thread full of images from PornHub, etc. In my opinion, such content does not belong in a zoo forum and should be deleted. Users posting images of themselves are great, but not this commercial crap; if I want to see that, I'll go to those sites.

It seems I'm back down to 180-odd posts, I was closing in on 250, sadge. I assume dumpster threads got nuked, I had a bunch of posts there

Also an active woman or man who want to share with us and show themselves is relative to this forum, but also those who are not active but have a sentimental or erotic latency for zoophilia and show themselves is relative to this forum, other topics in the forum do not concern zoophilia, in the forum there are many, but sex is about zoophilia, fantasies are about zoophilia, desiring a k9 girl or an active man is zoophilia, what bothers me a lot here is the bigotry of many people who have not understood that a nude body shown by those who are active or like zoophilia is about this forum, the problem is putting nudity in the porn section, nudity is not pornography. In the forum there is pornographic material but a naked body is not pornography. The absurdity is that in 2025 someone still has to point this out in a forum dedicated to zoophilia.
that's what I think too, naked bodies are not to be considered porn, they should have a dedicated section, if there are members who want to show themselves politely and without vulgar images they are not porn.
vulgarity for me is in other threads, vulgarity if not apparent is a subjective thing and a naked body for me is not

I wish to inform the community that it is not possible to open again threads dedicated to active girls, an attempt of mine to do so was a few seconds ago deleted, at least now we know that it cannot be done.
Yes it was implied that deleted threads are not to be reposted, although it was not clear, then you can disagree if the active girls thread was to be deleted, for me not but I am not a mod.

Hi,

I absolutely cannot understand the ill-considered decision to delete all personal ad and meetup threads and posts. What kind of signal does this send to users when their posts are deleted after less than a day? I think this is a sure-fire way to scare users away and chase them off. Even if the threads are a week, a month or a year old, you can't tell from their age alone whether they have been dealt with.

And the many deleted posts in the Bestiality Discussion section contained important knowledge for reference. Apart from that, a lot of work went into the posts; I alone spent many hours researching, which were now wasted. Users feel that their commitment to the forum and other users is not really appreciated.

I strongly doubt that this will increase their motivation to get involved and help others. Why invest effort if there is a risk of deletion? Users will then limit themselves to very superficial posts.

As an admin and moderator in one forum for 25 years and a visitor and active member in around 200 other forums over the years, I can say that other forums never delete users' knowledge or specialist posts, as this is precisely what makes forums attractive.

When other forums want to clean up, they try to get rid of inactive members, for example. They are notified and told that if they do not log in within a specified period, their account and posts will be deleted.

This alone would remove a lot of ballast from Zooville. Banned or otherwise blocked users and their posts could be deleted without further ado. A similar procedure could be followed for personal ad and meetup threads and posts, but with a time limit. Thread creators are notified when their thread is one year old that it will be deleted and that they should create a new one if necessary.

There are other useful ways to tidy up and make the forum clearer. All Meetup threads should be moved from the discussion sections to the relevant Personal Ad and Meetup sections. Another option would be to close threads with topics or questions that have clearly been resolved to prevent further posts. If users still want to contribute to a closed thread, they can send a private message to the thread creator. However, the thread creator should be allowed to reopen the closed thread if he believes it is not yet resolved. That much tolerance should be granted.

For me, the most important thing is that people talk to each other and don't just act. Most of the crap in the world happens because people don't talk to each other enough.

Kind regards
CdB
Exactly this

I wish to inform the community that it is not possible to open again threads dedicated to active girls, an attempt of mine to do so was a few seconds ago deleted, at least now we know that it cannot be done.
I had presumed that it was better not to open a new thread for active girls in the forum, some people told me that it was possible but from your words my intuition was confirmed, now I understand the new rules better, I don't agree because my old thread was active and not vulgar and it was dedicated to k9 women in the forum 🤷‍♀️

Can we get permissions to actually do something with the damned groups, seriously I am fed up with there being a section of the forum that's completely inaccessible for anyone that's not a administrator.
Hmm, I thought that ZV moderators had access to the forums groups, so only a ZV admin does?

Can't even view posts in anything that's set to be private, hell there used to be groups that were completely invisible but at least that was addressed.

This is what I get trying to view the mare lovers group posts.

*sighs* Obviously, I'm not knowledgeable of ZV's inner workings. @ashy and I would appreciate/love to have you rejoin the group. We're working hard cleaning it up and purging banned, inactive/lurker accounts. The vast majority of applicants are denied as we are looking for genuine, sincere mare lovers, NOT wankers, wannabes, porn-mongers and trolls (e.g., bestialists/fetishists).

The way I discovered the 'purge' was from a post in the DF that explained the drop in my post and reaction count. No biggie really and I'm all for 'cleaning house' from time to time. I'm a bit surprised though that some of the staff was no on board for this as such an operation should have the entire staff on board and be well planned and announced in advance IMO. I'm certain that there are likely several other areas that could use a good cleaning too.

It was a great thread when it started.

It just over time became a thread filled with fakes and banned fakes. Nature of the beast on sites like these. Start another one. Nothing I know of says you can't or shouldn't.

Over time, it will be filled exactly the same way, but it can always be started up again.

I dont see it as any different than zapping the roll call threads. As those also fill up with dead accounts and fakes. Your thread had some good posts in it though, where the various roll call threads were just mostly dead space without much visual appeal.

I found another buggy comment in the Groups section. For a year, two year, several people have been ask that if it can't be fixed because it's complicated, then the whole thing should be disabled or deleted. How many more times do they have to ask?
You can't moderate, you can't edit or delete comments. Comments are visible even as a Guest, without logging in, while the Rules explicitly allow for the description of contact information here, because it's "closed". No, it's not closed. It's visible. Because it's buggy shit.

Why is it that no matter what users complain about, it's never fixed or doesn't even get a response? This is not how a community should be run, working in a community doesn't just consist of pressing the ban button on report tickets. If staff members get tired of this work, they give up their rank and look for someone else. An administrator and moderator have a much bigger role in the life of a community than what's going on here. This is no different from what ZThorse did. Sloppy, slovenly, oversimplified and boring face work.

The cleanup was planned for year, then two moderators started it without notifying the admin. Why? With reason. If they ask for permission, nothing happens for another year?
The cleanup is sloppy, too much garbage was left, too much normal content was lost. There was no talk that the zoophilia section would be cleaned up. It was a mistake.

Why do you have to shit in the comments in threads that have their own moderator who speaks the given language? Why is it better to translate and start mixing shits you don't even understand?

Fuck off, you all did a really bad job here. This team is a shit. And you all are outraged when someone describes this.

I have to find the link again, but there was something that sloppy made that the mods can use to join and mod yourself in the group. Of course, it doesn't seem like you get tons of things like if you owned it, but it lets you do something.

Why exactly 'Ukraine' thread was deleted?
Which one are you referring to, in the meetup threads? Because everything there was deleted.
Or in the DF? Because I suspect there was just trolling from page 3 onwards, and liberalization and republicanization from people who think they know the fuck about politics when they are fucking idiots.

And that's a problem - meetup section has threads for people who speak none of Non-English Bestiality Discussion languages and now has to re-create the same thread again. So if you don't speak any of Non-English Bestiality Discussion, you have to create a thread over and over again?

This was a one-time cleanup. Create a Ukraine thread in the Others section if you don't have one and you can talk to each other again.
Every other country had to create their own thread again. All the threads you see there were started in the last week. It is likely that there will not be such a large deletion in the next year.

Okay, I see you've already opened it.

WHY? This seems like a massive case of overmodding. Ruins the fun here and instills a fear of mods - one that is already present.

jerking off over a active pretty naked body is a sin? this rule i thought was for orthodox religious people!
it's all debatable but your porn videos while helping someone get fucked or other similar video or gifs are not for jerking off! or Pes cum is not material for jerking off! or 3d-artwork-ai-content thread is not material for jerking off! no it's all art!
i understand deleting old or inactive threads but the purge done is excessive
Agreed that it was excessive. And the result is unpleasant. One person said "just recreate the deleted thread", then we find out that the thread is deleted (by a mod of course). How is an Active Girls thread prohibited? Really? It boggles my mind thatt it would now be mod policy to delete threads that people actually want.

Being a mod on this forum has to be one of the most stressful things I have ever seen so far

hopefully wishing the best for them :(
I've modded fora for over 20 years and can't fathom the thinking of any mods that would delete certain popular and in use threads and the deletion of attempts of recreation of those threads. Just baffling and ruins a fun atmosphere here.

So I never actually provided announcements on this.
And that sucks. Honestly, it does.

Agreed 100% 100% 100%. The cleanup was needed BUT lots of used threads were removed. And then forbidden to be added again!! With no mention why or what is allowed and what isn't! And more junk that needed to be removed wasn't.
This was a sloppy unannounced job with poor results and which left a lingering bad taste between users and moderators.

I've been deleting intros after six months of either no new posts or the OP hasn't logged in, I was fed up with seeing one post accounts from 2019 being drooled over non-stop.

Same thing goes for any necro posts as well, why reply to a post that's been dead for years and the OP hasn't been seen in just as long 🤬
Can intro posts be automated to be deleted after 6 months? Can it be made a listed moderation policy - for both mods and users to be able to read?

And I just read that attempts at making a new "active girls" threads are being deleted. So there is some reason why "starting another one" is forbidden but there is no list posted saying it's forbidden. :( This is arbitrary deletion "because we say so". This sucks and is a sure way that overmodding can kill a forum. I've seen it happen before.

Some actions are really complicated to understand, if they want an exclusive zoophilia forum it would be better to be announced clearly

Which part of "Zooville - Zoophilia and bestiality forum" (which appears at the top of *EVERY DAMNED PAGE LOADED!*) is unclear as to what the topic of this forum is intended to be?
