Esteemed Citizen of ZV
No matter what members and visitors come here for, ZV is has become a premier online zoo destination and general gathering place. Some don't see it that way, and consider it a porn dump, or just a gathering of people that tangentially share a single, somewhat-unpopular-with-society trait.

What do you think?

A "community" is based on more than only one very slight aspect of life - or even just interests - of the users.

Some people call it "community", just a commonly used descriptor, not factual description.

It resembles a forum, a meeting place for communication. This is proven by the features.
It as well resembles a place for people of interests in one specific area.

How far those interests are going, how they're formed and shaped and how far of a dipping they're taking into it, that's wholly variable.

Comparable to a forum regarding sportive activities. Unspecific ones.

As such I see it as a place of interest-based conversation.

I found good community because of connections through this site, but it is not experienced through this site.

Don’t consider it a community at this point. However everyone within my private conversations I know personally are my communal friends. All of them share the same ideals with different dispositions.
