You use VPN to be in the forum and why?

I use it in combination with ublock origin and incognito mode so ads don't track my internet usage.

last thing I need is to have someone look over my shoulder at like a google search and see a targetted ad for bad dragon lol.
 
Of course! My whole home is protected and my cell phones. I just now noticed that there is an onion link for this site! doh! I'll be using that too.
 
VPN and InPrivate/Incognito/Private window through Windows Sandbox. I should add uBlock and Privacy Badger, but setting up this environment every time I reboot or it crashes is already involved.
 
I only use VPN, When IM downloading Pirated Movies and Music.
Cause Im tired of getting that E-mail from my cable provider.
 
Because my ISP is required to record metadata but my VPN provider is not.

Because while login details are wiped from the forum regularly there is a period when they're still recorded.

The problem is that a VPN doesn't protect you from the real risk. The VPN hides your true IP from the ZV server operator or the government authorities (which don't care to trace you), not from your local threats, like someone going in your Downloads folder and seeing the videos or photos you saw here, someone typing a Z on the browser address bar and autocomplete providing the URL for the site, etc. I wrote something about this a little while ago in a comment. You may want to check it out.

I access it from within my samsung secure folder. On top of that I only will ever access this place on something only I can access or where it won't save history. I'll be okay.
 
I have a VPN but to be honest the primary reason I got my VPN wasn't really to do with privacy in the first place, though the privacy is certainly nice. My VPN doesn't currently support split tunneling in Linux otherwise I would customize it a bit more since there are some things I would prefer not to run through the VPN.

For visiting zoo sites I use Tor, which makes a VPN kind of redundant.
