You think Zoo will ever become somewhat socially acceptable?

Acceptance towards different sexualities has really exploded in the last 10-20 years. I guess it started with gays, then bisexuals and then pretty much exploded into all different kinds of stuff. And so with the furry movement kind of becoming a part of the "woke movement", do you guys think it will ever spread to Zoo. We have a lot of research on our side so personally I'm about 60% sure we will start to be more and more accepted within the next 50 years. That might seem like a long time, but then let's remember crossing the "species-line" IS a huge step.

I mean both socially and legally, I'm really insecure about my whole attraction to animals thing but I just kinda hope one day people will see we're not animals pin not intended

Furry porn is mostly anthro animals...so animals with human attributes. It's more of personas brought to life than it is them wanting a relationship with an animal. Even fursuit it's people under them not animals.

Some furries are for it and some furries do it and abuse the animals. Can't remember the case name specifically but it's no different than any other non furry who can be into zoo or abuse animals and want nothing but sex from them.

In a perfect world it would be nice to have it tolerated in society and not demonized but this is far from a perfect world
 
Tolerated would be ideal but unfortunately it’s extremely far from getting there. Besides, I have no reason or feel the need to flaunt it but just don’t want to be arrested for it or worse have my lover put down because of it.

It sure is, but on a more positive note, I'd say we're closer to "perfection" in the western world than what we were say 100 years ago, or any amount of time for that matter and so my argument is basically that this kind of progress will eventually spread to the Zoo community. But perhaps I'm a bit too hopeful...
 
It would be nice. But if it does or dosent it never will stop me from being a zoo and forming an unforgettable bond with mostly every dog I come across. I'm happy when they are happy and this applies to any and all forms of happiness. <3
 
Have you noticed that our interactions these days are mostly rooted in disgust? I mean the stranger/stranger interactions. I think we're heading down a very slippery slope to authoritarian rule and you can bet that things will get harder and not easier for the animal lover
 
Most likely it will remain unacceptable but I hope for an societal attitude of “ain’t nobodies business but my own” (from a funny little song about snow in the desert). IMO there IS a sickness amongst people but that sickness is the judging of oneself or others about their personal business which is an effort to make oneself either acceptable to others or superior to them. As far as the legal argument goes so long as there remains a livestock industry and hunting (trapping even worse still) also animal research and the practice of sterilization then I suggest a strategy of equal protection under the law. It’s unfair to persecute zoos while allowing others to torment, torture and kill animals for profit and or “sport”

I agree with you, but I think that people that kill animal's for survival should be looked at differently.
Not everyone kills for profit or sport, but to survive!

Yes I agree with you there. I didn’t intend on condemning hunting, I’m not against it entirely and I do consume meat and I have dogs that of course rely on the meat industry and for that matter Pizza why is it dogs love pizza so much?! 😆
 
Humans have been having sex with animals since the dawn of our existence, and as result, some cultures are pretty tolerant. As for the U.S., as long as the Right Wing is allowed to make laws based on their beliefs, there will be no tolerance here - of anything!
 
The best way to do this is more exposure as well as education. Research is the most important type of search anyone can do to find out results

Well the best way to do things is informing the public we arent here to hurt their animals.

Instead of treating us like the boogeyman they will learn to separate those mean harm to those who actually take EXACT detail care of their companions.
 
Nope. Men make the rules. Aren't going to condone women getting a nice dog knot if it cuts into there own satisfaction.
 
i'd like it but i don't think it's possible, people are mostly sheep, they only follow what leader said to them and can't accept someone think another way :(

I doubt it and also some people are in it just for the taboo and this would spoil the fun. Somehow being told something is forbiden makes it more exciting.
 
I don't think so soon. Maybe that's not a bad thing either, because a big incentive is the mental thing, i.e. doing something "forbidden" there..:unsure::giggle:

I'm also ABDL and in my teens that was banned from most furry and fanart sites and you were pretty much made to hide it. However that has lessened significantly recently. I can see the same happening. Though it will be harder because many people see domestic animals as children and so to them zoophilia=pedophilia.

As far as acceptability, I simply hope for a general attitude of mind your own business to return to America (can’t speak for the rest of the world but I hope the same) Our current culture seems to want open acceptability for this group or that, when in my opinion it’s simply no one else’s business what others do in private with the exception of I believe all groups should leave children out of it. All children deserve safe innocence and to discover along with their peers and their families their own identities. So I am not for the promotion of lgbtq (or quote unquote straight) issues per say but rather I am for respecting the privacy of everyone in regards to their private affairs

Though while I like bestiality I'm actually not as okay with Zoophilia. Animals can be a fun addition to sex and a enjoyable and safe way of spicing things up. However they are still not human and so they should only serve as an addition to a normal relationship. They should serve as a replacement.
