Wife interested dog not so much...

Hey y'all this is my first thread so here it goes

I have a 3yo Rough Collie that we love to death. he's hummed before at the dog park when bitches are in heat but when it comes to the bedroom he isn't really interested. is there anything that will make him more interested? I read similar threads but they're not really helpful. thanks!!
