Old classics with JCVD - Cyborg. Crucifixion scene, brawl in ruins and final fight are insane! 🫢

War Horse is a 2011 war drama film directed and produced by Steven Spielberg, from a screenplay written by Lee Hall and Richard Curtis. It is based on Michael Morpurgo's 1982 novel of the same name and its 2007 stage adaptation. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Peter Mullan, Emily Watson, Niels Arestrup, Jeremy Irvine (in his feature film debut), David Thewlis, Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch. Set before and during World War I, its plot follows Joey, a bay Irish Hunter horse raised by English teenager Albert as he is bought by the British Army, leading him to encounter various people throughout Europe, in the midst of the war and its tragedies.

The Minecraft movie, just to find out if it is as bad as many people make it out to be. And it kinda is. Might be fun for some kids, but to me it wasn't really about Minecraft, it was more about some very bland and generic story set in a Minecraft themed theme park. The whole story didn't need to happen, the villain was weak, "Steve's" origin story was weak, None of the characters felt really important or relevant, the whole movie didn't have to happen, so I can totally see how people got disappointed about it. I usually give anything a chance and can find some redeeming elements even in bad movies or stories, but in this case I have to say that I've seen more immersive films from fans than this "original" movie. Just my personal opinion though. But as I said, I was just curious, I didn't expect much, so I'm not disappointed either. Also now I know, now I can form a proper opinion on it. That said, I don't know what to watch next. I guess I'll find out eventually...
