Last night I was revisiting Werner Herzog's Aguirre, der Zorn Gottes (1972) and despite its enormous age, it has not become dated, it's just that its image is somewhat murky due to the cameras of the time and the terrible climate they had to endure in the Amazon region.

Especially the beginning, the robot on the island just being a terrifying entity to the animals in the forest was so hilarious

Very harrowing movie; the best anti-war, war film I've ever seen. Although not one i just want to watch all the time; very bleak.

The second was ok, the ending was horrible, worse than the second half of the it's version and just removes any tension/scare factor pennywise could have
