It's not as emotionally raw as the original, which remains both my favorite version of the song, and one of my faves of all time - but something about it just hits so nicely for me when the mood strikes me, like now.

I ADORE THIS SONG!!!
Weird side story, the corpse girl in this video looks very much like a girl I knew way back about 20 years ago. This song came out in 2004, and we all told her how similar they looked.
She passed in a car accident literally a year later (2005), and it was just so eerie but made me love this song even more

I also love this song, the part where the folks are dancing with their umbrellas on the steps while they haul the casket in the rain evokes a lot of very powerful emotions for me, especially as someone who has dealt with some heartbreaking losses before, and the raw emotion in his voice in the original melts me down to pure Emo-nium
