It's probably been said before, but I'm too lazy to read 26 pages of replies. But people that drive under the speed limit. Especially when I'm going home on lunch to walk my girls. It's 16-20 minutes to get from work to home, depending on how many stop light I'm stuck at. I usually have 20 minutes to walk them, eat, and use the bathroom at home. Then I have to race back to work. Working at a call center I have exactly 1 hour for lunch. Or more exact 1 hour and 59 seconds before it's considered late and is an infraction.
 
People who are a mine field and make you have to watch your every word for fear of upsetting their pathetically weak emotional stability.

When people make me cringe so many times for saying things I strongly disagree with, that I start to cringe when they say things I do agree with. Seriously, I can't even watch trump anymore. just cringe cringe cringe it's fucking painful.

wow. it seams surreal. grocery store here in NC had more bare shelves then I've ever seen earlier, no tollet paper, pasta, and oddly -shredded cheese-?

Sincere apologies for being short and crass- I"m not a heartless asshole. I don't think any amount of death is 'acceptable', it's just not that simple. The hysteria and panic make everything worse. People die because of that too- retirement accounts raped by panic selling, shorts and insider trading...economy wreaked, struggling business's going under...people left unemployed...etc... It's not JUST the pandemic that's causing problems, it's the way people are responding to it.

You've never worked retail before, have you? Some of my friends in retail tell me that either they show up sick or lose their jobs due to attendance infractions. :mad:

Nah, it was in regards to Climate Change deniers and someone that called me an "alarmist" some months ago. Dude's blocked. I'm hoping that there are even more in-depth protocols that will prevent that guy from even being able to view my account, preventing him from sending me any messages or directly replying to my comments...or him even seeing my comments on this site, if the admins are willing to look into those kinds of protocols.

I'm hoping they base the Block function off of DeviantART.

I've worked retail before, and they want you to show up to work even at your sickest. It's only when you're hurt on the job (when they see the injury happen with their own eyes) that they tell you to stay home. I torque'd my knee in the back room of a Big Lots in Florida around December 2016, trying to jimmy in a king-sized mattress into the steel. Too much sideways movement, and my left knee gave out. I was hobbling badly. The management told me to go to the hospital, and I was directed to stay home for 2 weeks (doctor's orders).

Yeah, the thing was, it was a pre-existing injury. I injured my left knee, for the 1st time, when I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010, and has never healed as well as it should, and would routinely give out on me. That incident on December 2016 aggravated that old injury.
