yea you need to reach new user before you can upload. add a few friends, or just idle in your home world for a night or two. youll rank up in time.

theres a vrchat world called "greybonz avatar world". its a bit. meme-y? but there are a few feral avatars, like a husky and fennec fox. nothing too fancy or feature heavy. cool to see though.

Horses, dogs, barns, giant insects and spiders( with sps larva toys and eggs )

Hives, and seedbeds, bdsm world's, and a pig
Alot of the stuff I use comes as a modified asset from sfmlabs and converted from being for animations in blender to making anims for unity and vrc

Interesting, I would ask to see them too though dms for that would be better or in the group

Ehh your choice I have a wildly fucked unity instance so if you want to see it, it's a cluster fuck of random assets and shit(I do most of my commissions in there

For me it is mostly to confirm you aren't someone who is a bad actor if that makes sense? Like you said in another reply, there are people who go out of there way.

If you can make the whole thing one mesh, have bones for specific areas, and use one material for the whole critter( saves space and is optimized)
Texture resolution bake in 4k in blender if you make the textures there or in substance painter
Throw into unity and test uvs( recommend poiyomi)
Also make sure poly counts aren't above 70k( auto poor and these devices run like android phones since the hardware is similar but the headsets just have a bigger battery for the screens(ie lenses)

As I started using VRChat I was drawn by the avatar creation, have already uploaded two (though they weren´t made by me, Im still learning to do the things you listed lol) hope that by the next two months (Bc of work and stuff) I´m gonna be able to make one for myself and upload it.
When I start making it Can I message you for some feedback? You sound like you know a lot about avatar creation.

It’s mostly fun with friends. If you get some good funny friends, it can be a blast. A headset definitely adds to the fun for puzzle worlds, horror worlds, or just fun visual works. Or if you want to do erotic role play, a headset is needed. I have a couple lady friends on there that turned out to be fellow zoophiles and we roleplay zoo sex with some dog assets I have on my character. So they can’t really feel anything, but they can be on all fours irl and they can see my in game dog fucking them while we talk about what all is going on.
