I also have no idea how private vr chat is and whether using it for zooish discussions is a good idea.

You can make invite only instances that let you control who joins the world (they'll have to be on your friend's list to do this). Definitely don't talk zoo stuff in public worlds or have it plastered all over your bio, but I've had a lot of chit chats with a hand full of zoos in private while watching a movie or TV series. I'd recommend it and if you need someone to show you the ropes, give me a bark

The problem is that this is definitely not an application based around security and anonymity.
So using it for this stuff with unknown people could lead to leaking some personal info maybe.

Possibly. I haven't had anything leaked that I know of in the 3 years or 4k hours I've been on though. Just got to be careful and vet people through here or an alt account first. Especially since zoos out in the wild will be hella hard to find to begin with. Hardly any of us broadcast it.

It's rare. There's just no good quad avatars. Plus, it's boring for the person who's in the quad avatar. They don't have hardly any animations and full body tracking with them is a no go. But normal erp and chit chats are fun ^_^

are there any quad avatars? I've only found a cartoon fox which was really basic, VRC is definitely more on the anthro side of things. :/ second life, on the other hand had a huge zoo and feral community. I've erp'ed as horses and dogs of both genders thousands of times fucking and getting fucked by humans, anthros or other ferals.. good times...

Only a few that i know and they're very basic. Vr is just not very suitable for 4 legs.
