TV Ads that contain animals

I don't know if this will work internationally, given YouTubes material copyright restrictions in different regions. However I thought it might be fun to try.

Share with us the adds that you see on TV where you live, that contain animals as the characters in the ad/TVC.

Here are few to start us off:

Here's a few more from this company, they used to do a lot of animal ads, but they stopped about 10 years ago, which is a shame.

Some good ones there.

Oh you have the Meerkats too! I forgot all about them, Surgei gets put through so much the poor guy.
Is there a UK version of the Compare the Meerkats site? :gsd_laughing: I just spelt Meerkats wrong and my computer suggested it should be markets. I think last time I went there it told me if I was a Meerkat I would be a construction worker who lived in the outback and I could build anything I set my mind to, apart from flat pack furniture.

Yeah we have Compare the Meerkats here aswell. I think the adverts were supposed to be series and feel so bad for Surgei, I'm also guilty of going through their website to get the free meerkat toy.

I like the first one with the dog chilling and eating popcorn, apparently our cats and dogs in the UK just drink tea when we go out :gsd_laughing: .

Typical cat just phoning it in and only moving a paw then calling it job done, those eyes though me-yow.

I loved the trampoline, :gsd_love: it's like when somebody gets a pool everyone want to come around for a dip. I hope it had a strong mat though some of those guys have some pretty sharp claws.

In broad strokes dogs are great, no matter what brush they carry. :gsd_wink:

The first time I saw this ad I literally said "Oh your Beautiful" and it had nothing to do with the ute.

This one is educational, but a very important ad as it keeps your mate safely away from the edge while still letting them have fun and bark at everyone else they pass.

Oh god the RSPCA one just reminded me of the horrific Dogs Trust advert they did last Christmas :gsd_sad:. I seem to remember it got so many complaints for being too upsetting that they had to pull it. I won't post it the video but it's here.

These just got suggested on youtube from I think the US, why are British car ads so boring :gsd_laughing:

Don't ask me how my brain works like this (I don't know either) but when I read this post what I imagined was a world where zoophilia is totally normal and we had midnight commercials for phone sex with animals. Where the dog just barks while you masturbate. So uh, yeah. I'll take my leave now...

Haha my brain goes off on a tangent sometimes...I can just imagine the adverts, cheesy aggressive porno music, phone numbers flying across the screen...and something like this...
dog

Oh my God yes that is exactly what it would be like lmao
Not complaining of course ?

haha *heavy panting down the phone*...also I've just discovered dog in tights was briefly a meme thing :gsd_laughing:

Yep i actually remembered that, but I think this is a different picture than the original one that got so popular. Which just means that there's multiple people out there crazy enough to put their dog in tights ?
Now I'm thinking about that pic I saw of a bitch in crotchless panties...

That's only if you like being dominated. I'd prefer the canine operator to give soft pleasured wines and sexy panting. But where's your ad to go with your message, there must be something you know of where you live.

I'm finna make that business myself

We’ve been selling cars with animals for years

South Africa also try to get in on the act. But there lip-syncing... I don't know. Still good though.

We might be able to sell cars but you guys still have some romance going on.

Haha the bull dog in the SA ones is like "make the kids cry" terrifying, why the human mouth. I totally forgot about the Thinkbox ones, the part when the paws sequels down the steamed up window is my favourite. :gsd_laughing:

Yeah our car ads suck, even Land Rovers and Range Rovers which used to be work horses here, all now advertised as being all sleek and luxurious.

We had Churchill the CGI insurance dealing dog, but they turned him into a real dog.

And I can't believe I missed this one off, this Jack Russell is such a cute boy.

The Jack Russel was really good :gsd_happysmile: and I may possibly Have paused churchill to check out his balls as he passed on that skateboard. :gsd_wink: Shame the quality wasn't slightly better for the viewing enjoyment of dog inspecting. He's an excellent boarder though. (for not being a collie or terrior that is :gsd_laughing: )

This goes out to all the horse zoos. I seem to have been a bit dog centeric so far. And this one is wonderful :gsd_happysmile:

This next add is very much feel good, but it’s not entirely accurate. Dogs can see less colours than humans because we have 3 light receptor cones while dogs have only two cones thus they tend to distinguish blue and yellows far better than reds and greens. However they have a lot more rods in the eyes than we do which allows for good night vision; sort of like the infra red setting on a camera can make more use of low light to let us see things that are otherwise invisible to us humans.

Haha I notice his nads as well :husky_laughing: looks quite the pair. Yeah the Jack Russell one is one of my favourite, totally crap CGI on his mouth but catchy as hell.

This Pedigree ad look to have been used in multiple countries in Europe, but strangely the bit where the dog is saying "om nom nom" is also in different accent depending on the country.

Then there's this one :husky_laughing:

I guess those south African dogs from the Toyota adds didn't have access to Denta Sticks which is why they had to go for the dentures.

It would be interesting to know where these pedigree adds originated, I could have sworn they were originally from Australia, but if they are that wide spread in Europe then I guess they could have come from anywhere.

A follow up to the horse ad from last time

And another cat doing what they do best looking good and letting others do all the work.

I'd love to know what they've been feeding this puggerfly, farting rainbows is a little unusual. But hey it works for her.:gsd_happysmile:

Yeah I just thought it was a UK or European brand, I didn't realise it was international. Wiki says Pedigree started as Chappie in the UK, and is owned by Mars Inc in America. I imagine it was an international marketing campaign so they made loads of different versions, I do remember seeing the dogs with human teeth on the billboards on my drive to work.

Haha I forgot about the Amazon ad :gsd_laughing: life goals for some.

Today's ads are brought to you by beer and dogs.

To help balance things out and encourage people to drink responsibly, here is yet another reason not to drink and drive.

I was just given a good natured ribbing, by a friend because I just posted the most adds in a single day for a product group I don't even consume; not touching alcohol myself, but I couldn't leave this group without including one last one of this rescue dog who has all the moves. Mind you he might just be trying to get everyone drunk so he can sneak out and see that sexy bitch down the road.

Just the one ad today but it's a good one. Although it's not in english, but hey we're zoos so we know how to make do without virbal language when we have too.

A Little kindness goes a long way
