Dunno what's too old for zoo, but I can confidently say that mid-30s is too old to try and dip your toes into the human dating world for the first time in your life. The better part of a decade of trying and failing has only proven that the shortcomings and inadequacies in never exorcising those "skills" is something no one wants to deal with.

There’s a gentleman here that wrote a “guide” on how to make this work. He has a male dog, and he basically uses him as a girl magnet and ice breaker. He even posted his success rate. If at all possible, that’s how I would go. Apparently, where he lives, ladies will just come up to him and start chatting about his dog….I guess as he’s walking him at the park. Good luck.
