It is allowed in the Zooville groups. ZV groups already have hundreds of invite links and telegram/session/kik/discord... usernames you can try to contact.
Use that.
To join groups you need at least 10 posts and have PMs enabled (also explained in the rules)

Just started using it today, seems to work well though

I have used Session off and on for about six months. Works fine. I like that I can use it on my laptop and do not need my phone to use it.

Not to mention, those apps are not secure when chatting about topics local authorities frown upon.

Aside from session, most apps aren't secure to talk about frowned upon topics. Even then, session isn't 100% secure

Safe enough in the world we live, and it is a comparative concept. But yes, you're right to be skeptical. I have seen comparatively safer apps, slowly devolve as they become more popular or when the priorities change. But as of now, Session is the comparatively newer kid on the block and works reasonably better than, say Telegram.

I do trust Session (so much more than any other "encrypted" chat), though I trust QTox the most but it's a lot less known I believe, I was told to use it by another zoofur on the vast interwebs that I have now lost contact with.

Probably the most secure and straightforward messaging service. Element and other options are good but theyre not 100%, neither is session but its the best option. Fair warning its slow as shit no matter what you do and files can fail to send sometimes for no reason on both ends.

I'm on session, find that although it's incredibly slow, it is far more secure than most messaging apps
